Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good morning to everyone. I awoke this morning, with such a headache (right in the middle of my forehead and above my eyes).

I have to leave here in about a half hour and drive to another town to get my wife’s windshield replaced. Something hit her windshield while she was driving on I-95, right exactly where the drivers view is and it put a bullseye crack in it about 3 inches in diameter.

Well, the sun is shining and the coffee is hot. That’s a good start to the weekend! Have a great day.

I am just having a cup of coffee and my plan is to do some cleaning and take down the decorations on my mantle.

Good Saturday morning, Christmas friends!

I dropped Nancy off at a part-time job this morning, and came to work for an hour before I go back to get her. It's getting to be a real pain in the...uh...you know...to have four drivers in the family and three vehicles. I think it's time to bite the bullet and look for another one, doggone it.

Elizabeth got back safely from her two-night stay in Savannah at the Beta Club Convention. She ran in the door, changed clothes, told me she loved me, and ran out for a date with her boyfriend. Grrrr. That boy. Grrrr.

Howdy Brad. One of the "few" advantages of working overnight is that no one needs the car between 10PM and 7AM, then (since we have two) I am sleeping, so if both ladies need to go somewhere... not a problem.
Have fun with that young lady growing up. I may miss my children, but there are a lot of things associated with their younger years that I do not...

Morning, friends. Two little girls are running around, yelling and screaming! They are dressed like princesses and it is just 8:30....maybe they will be ready for a nap around noon. I know I will.

Lots of rain today and I think we will just stay in and be lazy. I'm not feeling 100%. Hopefully, this will soon pass.

Overcast, but warmer here in SD. Makes it nice to park the wife's car outside while I de-decorate (probably not a word, but it sounds cool) the home.

Hi there Christmasplease. I love countdowns too. Most of the people who work at Wal-Mart know they can ask how many days till Christmas and get the correct count. Of course they also know my end of full-time employment (God willing of course), which is currently 2 years, 2 months and 1 day.

Good Saturday late morning! So yesterday I went to see a doctor about my cough and I have bronchitis. So she prescribed antibiotics. I am skeptical because if it is viral, antibiotics won't do much. She said I did not need inhalers. I hope the medecine will do the trick because I am tired of coughing to the point of almost throwing up and I am plain tired too. Working today and afterwards we have to go to my in-laws to take care of their birds and plants, as they are currently on a cruise to the western carribean, lucky them! Enjoy a great day everyone!

Sorry about your bronchitis. I get it after every cold. And yes, the pills do work, it is just a shame that you have to go to the doctor so he can tell you what you already know so you can get the proper medicine. Oh well. Feel better soon. I am taking it a little easy today, but I just have to get off my backside now and then and get things done.

Happy Saturday everyone.

It is a rainy day here in Ohio. We actually had a full week of school last week.

We went to a great local restaurant for breakfast this morning. It is a place called "K's" and is well known in the area. It has been here since the 1950s.

I am hoping I am not coming down with an illness, but I have a one of those annoying little headaches that won't go away. My head is all stuffed up and about an hour ago I started sneezing like crazy. It seems like there is a lot of bugs going around right now. There were several students and teachers out last week with various illnesses. I just hope if I am getting something it happens now and goes away by mid-week. My wife and I are going to Detroit on Friday to see Postmodern Jukebox in concert. That was my big Christmas gift. Not only will we see them, she was able to get 2nd row seats and VIP passes to meet the band afterward. I cannot be sick for that!

I got that windshield replaced. Those guys at safelite did a great job. Plus they fixed a troublesome rubber seal that goes around the door for no charge too!!!!

Evening Iteach. Have not been to Ohio for some time, but my favorite place to eat there is Bob Evans. I'm an easy mark for good sausage gravy...
Just trying to get over things here as well. I was doing good this morning and tried to get some things done around the home and felt dizzy, laid down and slept for another nine hours. What a way to spend a Saturday off.

Good evening all. Well, my attempt to take everything down was halted around 2PM when I felt slightly dizzy. I decided to lay down for an hour and slept nearly nine. Also woke up to see that our weather report of overcast with a slight wind and 39 degrees ended up with 2" of snow.
Oh well, I'm awake now and will try to get some more work done while the rest of the US sleeps...

A very good morning to you HMG. Still working on the house and I got most of the driveway and sidewalk shoveled. It is always easier before anyone walks on or drives on it. The inside is coming along and I will attend evening services just to be certain that whatever I have is gone and I will not give it to those at church.
Not much else, maybe get some of the DVR stuff watched.
