Thanks Crown for the daily count .... a mild rainy day here today. Good day to stay inside and get some chores done and then maybe watch a movie or 2. We have a local pork butcher store and they had a blow out sale Friday and we got 38 lbs of ribs for $38! They came in 3 packs and each pack has 3 racks of ribs. Got 2 packs in the chest freezer and the 3rd pack has filled both of my crock pots this morning Just need to make home made baked mac and cheese and dinner will be set. Have a great day!

Hope the ribs & the mac 'n cheese were delish. Sounds amazing!! Great deal! I need to smoke some ribs again one day soon!!

Good Morning!

I've been waiting to get back online here since last night, my laptop did some Microsoft updates and they took till just a few minutes ago to finish. That must of been one serious update!

Well it's raining here along the shore this morning in Connecticut. So, I will be spending the day inside. That's ok, I have a ton of inside things to do today, like cleaning the cat's litter box, pay bills and do laundry; sounds like a ton of fun, lol!

I think my wife picked up a little bug, she's been feeling under the weather since yesterday, feeling extremely tired, no appetite and just blahhh. I hope she starts to feel better today before she has to go back to school tomorrow. Teaching 81 kids everyday, on a good day, can be exhausting enough....

Bob Evans, man, do they have some good food there! Love that place! Every time we go there, I walk away like I had a feed bag tied onto me. Highly recommend and always look forward to stopping at one.

Bob Evans is a local favorite. I have been to the original Bob Evans in Rio Grande Ohio. There is a small college there and I used to teach with some schools who did band camp there for marching band. The original Bob Evans' farm is still there and operating as well. The Evans family is still in that area too.

I hope you feel better as well. I am still kinda, blah today. Not bad... just blah.

Every time my SIL comes out from Cape Cod, she has to go to Bob Evans at least once as they don't have them on the cape. She loves it. I always get the same thing when I go there - Wildfire Chicken Salad. Mmmmm, mmmm

It's a rainy day here in NC. Now I have to spend my afternoon packing up the Christmas decorations and stacking them in the basement. I hope all of you have a better Sunday than me. Oh well I think there is a beer in the fridge.

I hope taking down decorations wasn't too sad for you!!!

Happy Monday!
It’s going to be cloudy here today with highs near 42 degrees. Not too much going on, a day of errands and chores for me. My mother is stopping by later this afternoon to visit me and her grandog. I hope everyone had a nice weekend and has a great week ahead!

Morning MMC. Happy Superbowl Week! Hard to believe we transition this week from January to February isn't it? But we have 3 days left to enjoy of this 1st month of the year. My busiest week of the month is this week but my co-worker returns so I'm happy about that. And staying busy just makes the work day move along. And I'm off next Monday! 1st 3 day weekend since New Years. Looking forward a long Superbowl Weekend. Oh and I still saw this house lit this morning with Christmas lights. Hanging on to it right into the end of January! Happy Monday Everyone!

The 1st thing I do in the mornings if flip on my white/blue lights in the house & then my winter tree! So cozy.
Big plans for the Superbowl?

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a long, wet weekend, but at least it was long, eh? Our niece threw a birthday party for her son Saturday. It was a Nerf War theme, and all the kids brought their Nerf guns. She provided a thousand Nerf darts, and we set them up a "paint gun-style" obstacle course in a warehouse here in Bellville. Those kids had a blast! Ok, I did, too.

I'll be out of the office for a meeting in SC tomorrow.

Morning HMG. Very nice pic! Errand day for me as I travel around to deliver "Dino Roars" posters for the Zoo. Probably take me a few hours. Currently -2 with an expected high of 21. Oh well, the car heater works.

Good evening.

Well, I made it through the school day today, BUT I am taking tomorrow off. Massive headache, body aches, chills, and of course fever.
I am hoping a day of resting with lots of fluids will help me recover. I will be better by the end of the week, I will be better by the end of the week, I will be better by the end of the week....

The crazy weather does not help in terms of the spreading of germs. 50 degrees one day, snowing the next, warm the next, super cold the next... I would much prefer if it would just stay winter until Spring time.

I hope everyone had a good Monday!

Good morning MMC!! "Merry" Monday!! What a dark & dreary day. Snow is predicted for this afternoon. Bring it on!!!

I am being reminded this morning why we don't stay out late on Sundays!

We stopped at our friends house last night after we went out with other friends for pizza...and we stayed way too late. It was after midnight when we got home! That's too late for a Sunday. LOL! Lucy was worried about us! Ha ha!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I'm feeling all Christmassy today!!! Doesn't look like there's much Christmas on tv though. Bummer!! Might have to log onto YouTube or Netflix.

Happy Tuesday Morning Holiday. Seems to me that these days the only time I am out late is when performing tasks overnight.
But, late nights have never really been my thing. The eyes tend to open and shut with the rising and setting of the sun. My two are always around to bark and meet the car when I get back home around 7AM.

If you're a fan of root beer ... you have to find someplace that carries Virgil's Bavarian Nutmeg variety. I'm not sure if it's available only during the holiday season. It's wonderful stuff, especially served ice-cold. (Don't worry, it doesn't really taste like nutmeg; that's just its name.) It's the best off-the-shelf root beer we've ever had. We get ours at World Market.

Good morning Merry and thanks for the info. I did check a few places on the web that advertised it, but they all list as "Out of Stock". I'll have to dig a bit deeper and see if it is only seasonal.

Greetings Iteach. I felt the same way with the constant up and down here in the mid-west. Though I know many portions are experiencing the same thing. Got over mine in a couple of days, with the help of some 28 total hours of sleep. What a way to spend a three-day weekend...
