Good morning MMC!! "Merry" Monday!! What a dark & dreary day. Snow is predicted for this afternoon. Bring it on!!!

I am being reminded this morning why we don't stay out late on Sundays!

We stopped at our friends house last night after we went out with other friends for pizza...and we stayed way too late. It was after midnight when we got home! That's too late for a Sunday. LOL! Lucy was worried about us! Ha ha!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I'm feeling all Christmassy today!!! Doesn't look like there's much Christmas on tv though. Bummer!! Might have to log onto YouTube or Netflix.

I am normally right with you on thinking about the bers and skipping summer as I don't like the heat/humidity but I am actually looking forward to the summer this year. We are joining a local Sportsmans club and they have a lake for swimming that the family is excited to use this year. We applied to be members a couple years ago and just got our approval to join.

Good for you! How fun!!! Hope you all enjoy!!! We are members at the sportsman's club at our lake too.

Thanks, we are looking forward to it as it's only 15 minutes from our house and we can pretty much spend every weekend there.

Greeting Edge. I also have a 3-day weekend this time around, but I will spend it on other things besides the ending of another NFL season. The match-up this year just doesn't do anything for me. In fact this year I've signed up for a Souper Bowl Sunday at my church, so while a large portion of the population is in front of the tube, I'll be busy elsewhere. But for all those fans... enjoy.
Luckily they always have just the Super Bowl Commercials on the NFL network the following week, so I'll see if any of those pan out.

I finished up a double presentation, chowed a mid day Friday Feast, and have to wrap up the work week, head home, and order a couple of scrumptious pan pizzas for supper. The only question is will we also order Goulda mac 'n' cheese, with tomato, onion, and drizzled BBQ sauce for one of our weekend lunches. Then there's the possibility of tiramisu for dessert...

Sounds delicious!! You peeps are killin me this morning. 2 of my friends are baking pineapple upside down cakes this morning & sending pictures. Now I need to go home & make one of those. LOL!!

It is warm, but very windy out so my allergies have been going nuts today. Probably shouldn't have taken a couple of walks in the woods this afternoon, but how often do we see the daytime temperature reach 50 degrees in January? Gorgeous day!

I have a busy weekend ahead. I work until 2 today, my grandson will visit with his dad after work. Grocery shopping. Taking grandson to visit his mom on Sunday & then a crop. (My first crop since October.) I'm bringing two friends, one who is very new to the world of scrap booking.
It boggles my mind that it's already the end of January.
I've managed to catch the cold that has been circulating around work. One person went home sick with vomiting, so....that can stay away. I don't want that.

Morning Murphman. I have mine stacked in the garage and this Spring it will be time to thin it out a bit. Also have some beer in the fridge... of course in my case it is Root Beer.

If you're a fan of root beer ... you have to find someplace that carries Virgil's Bavarian Nutmeg variety. I'm not sure if it's available only during the holiday season. It's wonderful stuff, especially served ice-cold. (Don't worry, it doesn't really taste like nutmeg; that's just its name.) It's the best off-the-shelf root beer we've ever had. We get ours at World Market.

Good Saturday morning, Christmas friends!

I dropped Nancy off at a part-time job this morning, and came to work for an hour before I go back to get her. It's getting to be a real pain in the...uh...you know...to have four drivers in the family and three vehicles. I think it's time to bite the bullet and look for another one, doggone it.

Elizabeth got back safely from her two-night stay in Savannah at the Beta Club Convention. She ran in the door, changed clothes, told me she loved me, and ran out for a date with her boyfriend. Grrrr. That boy. Grrrr.

Morning, friends. Two little girls are running around, yelling and screaming! They are dressed like princesses and it is just 8:30....maybe they will be ready for a nap around noon. I know I will.

Lots of rain today and I think we will just stay in and be lazy. I'm not feeling 100%. Hopefully, this will soon pass.

Good Saturday late morning! So yesterday I went to see a doctor about my cough and I have bronchitis. So she prescribed antibiotics. I am skeptical because if it is viral, antibiotics won't do much. She said I did not need inhalers. I hope the medecine will do the trick because I am tired of coughing to the point of almost throwing up and I am plain tired too. Working today and afterwards we have to go to my in-laws to take care of their birds and plants, as they are currently on a cruise to the western carribean, lucky them! Enjoy a great day everyone!

I hope you are feeling better by now!!! Yes, your lucky inlaws. NICE! Hope they have a great trip!

Happy Saturday everyone.

It is a rainy day here in Ohio. We actually had a full week of school last week.

We went to a great local restaurant for breakfast this morning. It is a place called "K's" and is well known in the area. It has been here since the 1950s.

I am hoping I am not coming down with an illness, but I have a one of those annoying little headaches that won't go away. My head is all stuffed up and about an hour ago I started sneezing like crazy. It seems like there is a lot of bugs going around right now. There were several students and teachers out last week with various illnesses. I just hope if I am getting something it happens now and goes away by mid-week. My wife and I are going to Detroit on Friday to see Postmodern Jukebox in concert. That was my big Christmas gift. Not only will we see them, she was able to get 2nd row seats and VIP passes to meet the band afterward. I cannot be sick for that!

Good evening all. Well, my attempt to take everything down was halted around 2PM when I felt slightly dizzy. I decided to lay down for an hour and slept nearly nine. Also woke up to see that our weather report of overcast with a slight wind and 39 degrees ended up with 2" of snow.
Oh well, I'm awake now and will try to get some more work done while the rest of the US sleeps...
