This weekend, for sure. I think I might need to put some Christmas music on tomorrow, too. March/Spring break starts tomorrow at 2:20pm!

She meant a lot to me. I missed saying goodbye by only three days. Still, I will forever find solace in the fact that I spoke with her quickly on the phone about a week before she passed.

It's very hard to believe! Our Spring/March break starts tomorrow. It's going to be a much-needed week off!

Hope everyone is staying safe in all of these storms! We had just a few bursts of snow showers today to make it look pretty outside. Just picked up my car from the shop today; had to get a new fuel pump put in (It was a bad day Monday when I was driving on the freeway and pressing on the gas and barely accelerating! I felt like the kid who got stuck with the slow Go-Kart at the race track!). Glad they were able to fix it but now stuck with paying off the bill! Yuk. Everyone have a great night!

I hope the bill isn't toooooo bad & your vehicle is good as new!

Good Friday morning! Back to work today for an afternoon/evening shift. I'll be going in a bit early, because I'm spending the afternoon training three new hires and I won't have time to do my own work as tonight I'll have to be on the salesfloor because I suspect it will be very busy. The little snow we got stuck and there's more flurries on the way. I was grtting used to seeing grass and cement. Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful day!

Morning Everyone! Crown is away for the next 3 days so I'll do my best to fill those enormous shoes by posting the countdown. Before we get to that though I wanted to tell you I saw last night a house all lit up in Christmas lights (including a wreath and tree inside completely lit up). Isn't that awesome? You know what else is awesome? The countdown so let's get to it.

Days to the Season: 249
Days to Christmas Day: 291

In 6 days (that would be less than 1 week) we will arrive at the 1/3 season marker. 1/3 of the way there...so soon? How is that possible? Thanks to Crown and the Countdown of course. I wish you all a great TGIF. Weekend Eve has arrived. Be safe and enjoy your day!

How exciting to see a house all decked out. Yesterday on the Rachael Ray Show Melissa Joan Hart had to play "which one is a lie" - one of her truths is that she still has her Christmas tree up. Rachael about had a fit. What's the big deal???

Merry Friday MMC ~
It’s going to be cloudy with highs near 42, we’re currently at 31 degrees with snow flurries falling. I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I’m working on a grocery list as well. I’m going to head out later this morning to run a couple of errands. I need to stop at the pet store, Rite Aid and the butcher. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be pasta primavera, mozzarella bread and a tossed salad. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great weekend ahead!

I picked up pork chops & mushrooms yesterday to make a new crock pot meal next week that was on Home & Family - looked delicious!!

Still no power and no ETA either. They said they are still "assessing" the situation. At least we have our generator but I think I am going to have to go to a friend's house to throw a couple loads of laundry in..
Work for me today and my youngest daughter has basketball practice tonight.

Well it’s kind of a sad day here with the funeral for the sheriff that was killed happening this morning. The procession route afterwards is 55 miles long. They are estimating it could take 4 to 5 hours to complete. So the north and west sides of Indy are going to be a mess traffic wise.

No real plans for me today. I’ve already been to Walmart and the grocery store. So I’ll probably just hang out and work on a few projects I have going. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Well it’s kind of a sad day here with the funeral for the sheriff that was killed happening this morning. The procession route afterwards is 55 miles long. They are estimating it could take 4 to 5 hours to complete. So the north and west sides of Indy are going to be a mess traffic wise.

No real plans for me today. I’ve already been to Walmart and the grocery store. So I’ll probably just hang out and work on a few projects I have going. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Happy Friday Eve!
We got about a foot of snow and lost power! But my husband was able to hook up the generator so we have Wifi and heat. They are saying we could be without power for a few days. I hope it comes on sooner than later!

Good morning MMC! It's FRIDAY!!!! We have 25º, feels like 17º & plenty of sunshine!! Looking forward to the time change late tomorrow/Sunday morning!

Soooo...our Great Dane house guest, Maggie arrived about 9:00 last night. Around midnight I carried Lucy down the steps to put her in her cage because the two dogs would not settle down! Going down the steps (I had socks on) my foot slipped out from underneath me and down I went, landed on my back/side/upper hip - Hurt like *^%$! *no dogs were hurt in this* - but then I go to bed and wake up stiff & sore as can be this morning! Nothing is easy this morning. But the more I move around, the better it's feeling - with the help of Advil too! Geesh - could be a long weekend!

Does anybody have fun plans for the weekend? Miss Emma is coming to stay with Mom today. My FIL is picking her up as I type! Soooo looking forward to seeing her!! We are having fish dinners & veggie pizza at Moms for supper tonight before my brother takes her back home! I have to stay with mom for a few hours tomorrow early evening. Other than that I don't think we have many plans. I'm ok with that!
