Good morning, y'all! The coffee is good, one of the girls are in my lap, and the cartoons are....well....annoying. I won't let that ruin my day, though. Having one of the girls in my lap is my favorite thing in the whole world.

Church in a bit, then to cook some supper. Y'all have a good day!

Morning MMC. Happy Last Week of Winter! Looking forward to Crown being back. Had a good weekend. Next weekend is Rollins 2nd birthday (St. Patrick's Day) so planning a special day for him on Saturday (although every day is special for him). And it looks like we will see light snow on Tuesday but most of the storm will be to our east thankfully. I'm ready for spring coming next week. Have a great Monday!

Happy Monday!
Looks like we are getting more snow....ugh. They are saying 6-9 inches, please no more power outages!
Work for me today and I am making a roast in the crockpot for dinner.
Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning, Friends!

The Crowns are back after a nice family weddng in Alabama.
Even though it was good getting together with family, it's good to be home again, too!

Also nice is the fact that our own Edge kept the count going without a break and with style. Many thanks, my friend!

But that's not all that is nice.
Just take a look at the latest count numbers:
Days to the Season: 246
Days to Christmas Day: 288

And in addition, just look how much closer we have drawn to Milestone number four.
It's the ONE-THIRD mark to the Season of Christmas and it now lies just 3 days ahead.
Why, that's LESS THAN HALF A WEEK, now!
How is this possible? That we should be so close already to entering the SECOND third of our Season count??
I'll let you ponder that one. To much for me to begin to understand so early in the morning, especially after the move to DST.
(I should still be asleep!)

The weather on our visit to Alabama was on the cool side and there was some rain, but no plans were upset.
For this week, we are predicted to remain on the cool side for the first half of the week, with even some possible snow flurries today.
Our current temperature is showing to be 37 degrees back home here in the capital city and it looks like it could start raining at any moment..

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone.
And I hope the week ahead will be kind to each and every one of you!

Merry Monday MMC ~
Today is my mothers 76th birthday, the girls and I are taking her out for lunch. I need to run to the supermarket afterward to pick up a few things. We have another nor’easter heading our way tomorrow and we’re expecting several inches of snow. I can't wait until we get some warmer temperatures. I’m dying to walk Rocky and start potty training outside, I’m so over these wee wee pads! Anyway, I’ll be working on daily chores when I get the chance and I’m making Italian Wedding Soup for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Good morning MMC!! How can it be Monday already???? I got a message from a friend this morning saying she wished it was Friday ~ I can relate to that! :p

I hope you all had a nice weekend. We didn't do a lot. I went to visit Emma Friday at Moms. We had veggie pizza & fish dinners for supper - my bro, sil, niece, her hubby & 3 boys joined us. Saturday I had to stay with mom for a few hours later afternoon/early evening. I brought my crocheting along. We stayed home Saturday night. Most of our friends were either at home, a wedding, or had other plans. Yesterday we went to listen to our friend sing/play guitar out at the lake. It was a lot of fun! We had pizza before heading home. He only played until 6:00 so we were home plenty early on a Sunday night. But with 2 dogs having me awake a couple times in the middle of the night, I could have slept longer this morning. Jim got called into work at 5am this morning too, so that didn't help!

Everyone, have a great day!!!

Oh ya, our forecast for today is sun & flurries!! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!! :D

The annual street party for st Patrick's is going on tonight .... A week early. Good Irish coffee! Yabba!
It's been a really long time since I've had a good Irish coffee...or any Irish coffee at all!! Hope you enjoyed!!! :)

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a long three-day weekend from work, but not from responsibilities. Elizabeth did end up with my bronchitis, but managed to sing at the school's region competition on Friday. Her events won first place in Trio and second place in Duo Oral Interpretation, so now they're going to state next week. She also dance in competition on Saturday, but we had to leave early, because she felt so bad. She's better this morning, though.

Jim's wife is still struggling in the hospital, and can still use prayers and positive thoughts. As a matter of fact, so could Jim and baby Rosa.

I hope y'all have a great day! :)

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Another snowstorm on the way for us, the third in two weeks. We're still cleaning up branches and getting electricity restored from the last one around here! Everyone hoped it would go out to sea instead of coming up the coast, but I see this morning we're expecting 6 to 10 inches Monday night into Tuesday (although that could change as they fine-tune the forecast). I've had enough of winter!

One antidote, though ... we're making plans for a summer vacation, as we weren't able to take one last year.
Dream of summer & vacation!! Where are you thinking of going?
I hope you only get as much snow as you want!!
Have a good Monday Merry!

Merry Sunday!

The sun is shining, but it is very cold out. Only 12 degrees the last time I heard an update which was about an hour ago. Waiting for it to warm up so I can do a few things outside.

Last night I was unpacking the truck in the dark as I got home so late from work and errand running. For some reason, it really tired me out as I slept well for a change. Only the groceries were brought in, so later today I have to unpack the stuff I picked up at the thrift stores.

Palmer woke me up around my usual time so there was no sleeping in this morning. I think she was angry that I was gone so long yesterday. She missed me. :)

Speaking of Palmer, her treat jar has only a few treats left inside so she is on rations much to her dismay. She's been moping around the house this morning. Poor cat! The ones I ordered from Amazon (can't find them anywhere locally) were supposed to arrive Friday, but something happened that caused a delay so it is supposed to arrive on Monday. When she's the new package, she should be back to her mischievous self. :)

Be safe and merry!
Ha ha! Poor Palmer!! I hope her treats arrive today! xx Lucy was supposed to get elk antlers last week Thursday & they have been postponed until tomorrow. Probably a good thing or the big horse (house guest) would have chewed them down to nothing. LOL
Have a great day M!

Have a good Monday Edge!

Have a good Monday Merry!
We're going to visit Gloria, as we couldn't go to see her last year. She is so excited, and so are we!

As for the snow, we'll definitely be getting more than we want, because we didn't want any more at all. Forecasts are calling for 10 to 15 inches this time, but at least it'll be a fluffier type less likely to bring down more trees. The only silver lining is the opportunity to work from home, which means I get to crochet while I'm waiting for jobs to come in. Boy, have I been using up yarn in the past 10 days throughout these storms!

Wishing you a wonderful Monday!

Hope you are able to keep your power this time around!!! xx
Roast sounds good. I'm making a new pork chop crock pot meal for supper tonight. I'll put it together at lunch! :)
Have a great day SFM!

Wow, what a trooper Elizabeth is! Glad to hear she's feeling better!
Continued prayers for your SIL, Jim, Rosa & all of you!! I hope things turn around for her very soon! xx

I was wondering if you were going to visit Gloria. I remember you mentioning you were hoping too. How nice!!
And WOW - you have a lot of snow predicted!!! I hope you can enjoy some cozy crochet time at home in-between work!
