It is snowing out! Only a dusting on the vehicles which is great as it is icy out from all the melting and refreezing that has been happening the past few days. Hate ice!
Palmer's package is out for delivery and should be here by 8 pm tonight. She will be so happy to be off rations and I'll be happy to have my shoes stay tied longer!

Same here. Speedway had a recipe for an Irish cream latte on the counter when I stopped in last week so I made one. It was okay, but so much better cold and that was four days later as I kept leaving it in the truck!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
It was a long three-day weekend from work, but not from responsibilities. Elizabeth did end up with my bronchitis, but managed to sing at the school's region competition on Friday. Her events won first place in Trio and second place in Duo Oral Interpretation, so now they're going to state next week. She also dance in competition on Saturday, but we had to leave early, because she felt so bad. She's better this morning, though.
Jim's wife is still struggling in the hospital, and can still use prayers and positive thoughts. As a matter of fact, so could Jim and baby Rosa.

Morning MMC. Hoping today is our last snow till the Christmas Season. It's a wet snow and most of it will fall to our east but it still is kind of getting a little much every time we start to see the ground and feel a little hint of spring it snows a few days later lol. But it's not too bad and the roads look ok. Anyway, they gave us a snow day at work for Wednesday which surprised me so I didn't have to use a PTO day last week. Just an extra 3 day weekend I need to take this spring/summer. Tough life but someone has to do it. Have a good day!

And that marker whos approach has been relentless?
Well, it's the ONE-THIRD point to Christmas Season 2018 and it arrives THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW.
Yep.
We are really that close to another ** MILESTONE DAY **, the FOURTH one on our Countdown chart!
Yesterday can be described thusly:
Clouds, rain, sleet, snow, cold.
All in all, a most unappealing day.
Now, today? Well it will still be chilly but at least the precipitation will be behind us.
We have commenced this second day of the work week at 30 degrees here in our part of MMC.

It's even cold down south, with temps at the freezing mark this morning. I had a little frost on my windshield!
I drove Lulu around the block before work this morning. She's been a little ignored with everything going on in our family the past couple weeks. Even though it was so cold, she did her impersonation of the guy in the Titanic movie, "I'm the Queen of the World!"

Good morning MMC!! Merry Tuesday!! Not much going on here today - just work. It's cold outside!! We started out at 25º, feels like 17º! We have a chance of "snow squalls" today & "intense snow squalls" possible late morning into evening. But accumulations are under an inch. I guess we'll find out!! It looks like it could snow any minute.
All of you in the path of the Nor'easter, stay safe. It looks like my Cape Cod brother is getting dumped on! He's predicted to have 15-20" with localized amounts of 22"! I should have flown out there yesterday. Ha ha!
Our horse-guest left us last night. I think Lucy misses her already, just a little!
