Thanks SFM! You got that right! This rainy day makes me

And of course little Lu was snuggled up in my favorite seat in the tv room before I left for work. Little turkey!! LOL I'm Jealous! :p

It’s definitely a crawl back in bed and sleep all day kinda weather day.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

The pollen is slowly killing me. Only in the last few years have I had any trouble with allergies, but doggone!

It's still cool today, with a high near 70°F, but after today it'll be in the 80's for the foreseeable future. Long sleeves one last time!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Hope your allergies get better soon!!

I talked to one of the other guys I worked at the boy scout camp with a few months ago. He had just had an allergy test and was allergic to almost everything. We both said it’s amazing that we never had problems back then but now a little bit of dust will have us both miserable for days.

I can't quite get fired up for it when the weather hasn't gotten warm enough, yet, to take down the outside lights...
I hear ya!! My winter tree, snowmen & lights are still up. Guess I'm not going to bother with getting Easter things out this year.
Some years we have had our spring garden planted already. Not this year!!!!

Good Tuesday afternoon! We've been enjoying sunny weather but rain is coming in. Right now it's warm enough that I cracked open the patio door and our bedroom window to get a bit of fresh air inside. I'm watching some spring-training baseball while I have a load in the dishwasher. Just relaxing after spending the morning running errands. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Ella still loves to go for hands and fingers when she gets excited. She doesn’t really bite down. Just kinds of hold them there in a give me a treat or else kind of way.
♥ Ella!! :)

Yes, it is!!! I might just take a siesta after work!
I took sinus meds this morning & they helped but now my headache is coming back. Darn weather. LOL

Wow! Seems like it was sure a long day at work. So happy it's quitting time. Everyone, have a great evening!!

Well, I had a few errands to run yesterday and today that took me to different parts of the city. I'm happy to report there are still signs of Christmas.
Sorry Crown no photos.
In different yards, porches, rooftops, trees and eaves - the signs are still here.
I spotted inflatable snowmen and rooftop Santas and reindeer that were not inflated, but still had the appearance of what they were.
Blow mold snowmen and Santa
Lights wrapped around walkway lamps
Lights on evergreens
Festive mailboxes with winter scenes, cardinals and warm glowy home image
Wooden painted Santa - looked homemade
Today it was down near the old beach where I once took Elf Edwin Noel to explore a piece of our heritage and the other spot was near the ski hill (yesterday).
And to top it off, when I got back into the car from grabbing groceries, Baby It's Cold Outside was playing on the MP3 in my husband's car (mine was being serviced for regular maintenance; changing oil, etc.).
I couldn't wait to run back here and tell you about my merry discoveries.

Now it's rainy with a mix of melting snow - spring is coming and I'm delighted for the merry little surprises I saw today.

Stay jolly! -sing--tree-

Thanks, Auntie.
There are still three houses in my neighborhood that have Christmas decorations up! I look for them each morning during my daily walks to be sure they are still there.

Dust for me, a medium reaction. Let's see, grass, trees, mold/ mildew will set me off the deep end. Especially Mold! Mold once put me in the hospital and I was medically treated for 3 months straight. Yup, how about that. Apparently, my lungs was allergic (highly sensitive) to the allergic reaction and I developed pneumonia, in August...

But, now that I think of it, I think truly, the worst of them all, that I am extremely allergic to, is having to get up at 5:30 and go to work every day!!! LOL!!!!!

Now that's what I call a very nice scenic walk!

Same here, not going to put up any decorations for Easter this year. All mine are still locked away in my storage locker.
We do have a Christmas swag that we light up most nights, that hangs over the archway that separates the living room from the dining room. We also have still some Jim Shore Christmas statues and Christmas angels (that light up) sitting out on some of the furniture. I love looking at them.

Merry Tuesday!

@Bradmac, @Holiday, @xmastidings, @made582, and everyone else suffering from allergies/headaches, praying you are better!

Rainy, warm day here. Went out to lunch with my brother and then browsed through an antique store on the way home. Fun! Got lots of ideas for the store and saw several things I wanted to buy but I stuck to my budget and came home empty-handed. It was a great afternoon! :)

The tree trimming crew left a big mess behind. What with the barn partially collapsed and now the trees "trimmed" it looks rather like a tornado skimmed the area. Hopefully, the trees will make a comeback.

Be safe and merry!

Morning MMC. Happy Pines Day! I see Crown & Auntie have seen some signs of Christmas still. That's pretty awesome. I still see signs of Halloween though...at least that is what it looks like from a distance. 2 big huge orange lights that look like lit up pumpkins. This weather feels like Halloween weather too. Going to Chinese Buffet tonight. Have a great Pines Day!

Good morning. Man, did I ever have a super rough night sleeping last night. It’s my own fault, I ate 2 chili dogs with cheese. The chili on the dogs was nice and spicy, but I ate them too late last night.
I rolled around, tossed and turned in bed all night, having crazy dreams that made no sense at all.

I feel like I got two hours of sleep last night and right now, my tail is dragging on the ground!!!! Ohhhh, I need some serious coffee. it’s going to be a long day.

Good Morning, MMC Citizens!

We are at mid-week and 'Pines Day again.
Always a nice respite at the half-way point.

This is nice, too:
Days to the Season: 230
Days to Christmas Day: 272

And next month's dual Milestone markers?
They are the 1/3 point to Christmas Day and the 200-day Season Window.
The first arrives on April 26, the second the following day.
(Of course, after that second marker, we will be starting a 100's level Season count.)
WOW!

OK. We are holding the weather service to their promise that yesterday was the last cold day for the foreseeable future and that today should see us well into the 70's for the afternoon high. It should be dry and clear, too.
(I can't wait. Believe me, I can't wait!)
We again start coolish this AM, at 48 degrees here at the central part of the state.

Carl is ready at the SP for any and all guests.
The fired twinkies are piping hot.
The tea is cool and sweet.
And the entertainment, as always, is world-class.
Drop by this evening and see what's happening!

Until then, you have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Merry Pines Day MMC!
Not too much going on here today. I’m going to take a ride to the pet store and Costco later this morning. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. Dinner will be spaghetti & chicken parm. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone has a nice day. See you tonight!
