Good Morning, Crazy Counters!

And it's just crazy how rapidly we are approaching our next TWO Milestone markers.

Here are our numbers, to kick off the weekend:
Days to the Season: 220
Days to Christmas Day: 262

Twin markers arriving later this month are the ONE-THIRD Christmas Day point and the 200-DAY Season window, the first of which is due in just 19 days, now.
The second will be here the following day.
(Much to look forward to before the month's end!)

Carl is often overstocked with fired twinkes at the 'Pines.
Well, Mother Nature is apparently overstocked with winter weather conditions, because she is trying to unload the excess on us this weekend. Sub-freezing temperatures are predicted for this evening and we could get a touch of snow.
Hey, enough already. The calendar says April. And it's the south. Let's get some appropriate weather, how about?
(With all due respect of course, Ms. Nature!)
Our current reading is 56 degrees and it's supposed to get colder as the day progresses.

The national weather center said it was going to be stormy coast to coast, so praying everyone is safe!

The sun is out! Working later today. Right now I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can unpack the truck and start organizing/cataloging items.

Well, here in Arkansas, we decided to forego Spring and just stay in Winter until May...

Temps are hovering around freezing...which is about 20-30 degrees colder than normal.

Had a terrible dream last night....I dreamed that I missed the Countdown thread, the Blossoms thread, and the entire Christmas season for a year. I was so upset in my dream....it woke me. When I woke up, I went and read all of the special posts from the past few years. Good memories.

Morning MMC. Looks like we will have a nice day here but chilly again. We actually got a little more sun than expected this weekend. Not perfect but still not terrible. Hope you all enjoy your relaxing and calming Sunday!

Wow! Only three posts after I posted yesterday morning? That qualifies as a slow day for this place!

Went car shopping yesterday. With two little ones, we just need something a bigger. We almost took one, but got cold feet and wanted to think about it a little more. My wife is the calm, level headed one in things like this. I'm one who goes in with a game plan, knows what I want to get to, and fights like heck to get there...once I do, I'm good. Well, their first offer was exactly what we wanted (cheaper, actually) and it threw me for a loop. My wife said I wasn't aggressive enough for her to be happy with. HUH?

Oh, well....

Not too much going on here today. My daughter and her fiancé started painting in their new apartment yesterday. We’re going to take a ride over later and see if there’s anything we can do to help them out.

We journey dependably together through each and every year toward the same goals - our beloved Christmas Season and Christmas Day.

And so we continue our countdown:
Days to the Season: 219
Days to Christmas Day: 261

And our pre-goals? Our Milestones? How far away are the next ones?
Well, the first to come is the 1/3 Christmas Day marker, set to arrive in a mere 18 days now. Barely over 2 1/2 weeks!
The second will be here on the following day and is the 200-day Season Window, after which we commence a 100's level Season count and the first suggestion that things are just starting to accelerate.

Cold and rainy here yestereday. Quite chilly overnight too, and we awake to a temperature reading of 36 degrees, quite low indeed for April 8 in NC.
At least the rain has stopped, the sun is shining and the birds are singing!.

Good morning .. well yesterday certainly felt more like a fall day instead of a spring day. It was overcast for most of the day with breeze that made the air feel crisp. The only thing missing was the fall leaves and pumpkins LOL. The weather was perfect to make chicken potpie (dumplings version) and an apple pie so that's what I made and we had my dad and his wife over dinner. It was nice to spend the evening with them.

Not to much going on today, got to finish the chores. The kids were watching Alvin and Chipmunks this morning so now after listing them to sing their Christmas song I now want to watch a Christmas movie LOL so hopefully I can fit that in this afternoon.
