Awe! Poor Rocky!!! Hope he did good!! How old is he now?
We have a birthday party tonight, so dinner might just be homemade cinnamon rolls. HA!!! (depending if my hubby is done working in time to grab a bite before going to the party)
I have some corn on the cob in the fridge I really want to eat up, but this weak has just been nuts. We haven't had time to eat it!!!

Rocky did pretty well. He’s exhausted though, he’s been sleeping for the past couple of hours. I’m sure he’ll be raring to go when he wakes up! He just turned 5 months
Oh my goodness, now I’m craving cinnamon rolls. It’s been a long time since I made those. Hope you have fun at the party and have a good night!

Good evening. Looks like a very quiet night here tonight, everybody must be resting up before the weekend.

I sure am glad that tomorrow is Friday; yes! If anything, that thought alone, sure does make me happy that the weekend is on the doorstep. It's a quiet evening for us also, I'm feeling a little tired and I just want to sit and relax for a little while before I call it a night. The Mrs. made a big pot of soup and a couple of batches of cornbread. I just had to go in there and get me a piece of that cornbread, heat it up and slab some butter all over the top of it. Awe man, was that ever good! I might have to go back in the kitchen and get me another piece of that!

Morning MMC. TGIF! Last night the NFL Schedules were released and I've said before how that's a milestone marker for myself. I always look forward to seeing it come out and just seeing the months of the Bers on the schedule with games is just really cool and fun. And I checked out the Thanksgiving Day Schedule as I always do. Just something amazing about Thanksgiving Day Football. Hope you all enjoy your TGIF!

Merry Friday!
It’s going to be mostly sunny here today with a high of 53 degrees. I need to do some food shopping this morning. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. I’m going back out with my oldest later this afternoon to some apartment shopping. They have more furniture being delivered this weekend, they’re getting really close to moving in. I’m so excited for my daughter and her fiancé but boy am I going to miss her. It’s a good thing the apartment is nearby! That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

So let's celebrate with a joyous look at the latest numbers.

Days to the Season: 207
Days to Christmas Day: 249

And that first figure plainly tells us that we are precisely ONE WEEK away from the 200-DAY Season Window.
But before that, LESS than a week away now, we will arrive at the ONE-THIRD marker to Christmas Day.
Two Milestones coming before the month is out, on successive days!

Well, it's turned chilly again. After a warm start yesterday morning, it gradually got colder during the course of the afternoon and we have bottomed out at a starting temperature reading of 42 degrees here, today.

Well, the Crowns head to the coast tomorrow morning to check on the cottage to see how it fared over the winter and to begin preparations for our 48th consecutive rental season!
A volunteer counter will be needed for only one day, Sunday. Anyone feel like manning the bridge the day after tomorrow?

Good morning MMC!!! TGIF!!! Wow, am I glad it's Friday!! And a sunny one at that! (Even if it's 28º this morning!)

Not much up for today. I work til noon, then I have a couple free hours before heading to Moms. I'll be there until 6pm tomorrow night. I'm bringing a project along - we have had 2 tubs of "Stuff" in our attic since we remodeled (way too long) I'm going to go through. Not exciting, but it is nice to have something to do while you're there! It's been a stressful week trying to get mom care coverage figured out - I hope she has a good weekend!! xx When I'm relieved at 6pm tomorrow night, I'll head to the lake. I'll need to be back at moms by 8am Sunday. That's about it for me!!

Awe! Hope he's back to his cute & crazy self today!! Hard to believe he's 5 months already!! All 5.5 lbs of him!!
My SIL ended up having cake instead of cinnamon rolls last night. Darn!!!

Looking forward to some crochet time. I discovered a candy-cane-striped border that I'm eager to try out on a Christmas-colored lap robe I made! It'll look something like this (photo from Internet):



I tried it out last night, but literally got it backward, so I'm starting all over this weekend. Happily, there are videos out there to show me the right way!

Looking forward to some crochet time. I discovered a candy-cane-striped border that I'm eager to try out on a Christmas-colored lap robe I made! It'll look something like this (photo from Internet):

Well, thanks! I'll try to remember to do that when (and if!) it's completed.

I also ordered some large hooks (L and M) so I can try using "blanket yarn." The hooks are supposed to arrive today. I logged onto Pinterest for the first time a couple weeks ago, and am swimming in ideas!

All the sports fans here are watching NHL playoffs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Hockey and baseball have always been the 2 traditional favorite sports of the Maritimes. Of course there are plenty of football and basketball fans as well.
