Have a great evening MMC!! See you at the Pines!!

Nice finds on the books! Andy Christmas books? :)
Hope you stay dry at the garage sales & find some good stuff!! xx
Have a good day Meceka!

Yes, I did find some Christmas books: Gooseberry Patch Christmas 7, A Stranger for Christmas ~ Carol Lynn Pearson, and several IDEALS Christmas magazines from the early 70s. :)
Thank you!
You have a merry day!!

Our Fire Weather Watch turned into a red flag watch yesterday. None of us had heard of that one either. Crazy!

There have been those kinds of watches in other counties nearby, but I don't recall us ever having one. When the water vapor map was shown during the weather forecast, Michigan was black. Scary!
Be safe!

Ohhhh, I just remembered something, in regards to the ice block. It reminds me of this; "An ache in every Stake" - Three Stooges! Curly especially just kills me in this one!

If that is the one where the boys deliver ice up a flight of stairs, that is my favorite Three Stooges episode! :)

A week of loss here for me:
Lost a coworker suddenly yesterday and today my husband’s good friend passed as well. Thankful for you all and the cheer you bring each day when I’m here. It helps to remind me of what’s important and to remember there is joy.

Then you’d like Laurel & Hardy in “The Music Box”—-they deliver a piano up a huge flight of outdoor steps running up a hill!

Laurel and Hardy, Yes! I wish that type of comedy would come back on TV once more.

They were great; The Marx Brothers, Laurel & Hardy, Three Stooges, Abbott & Costello, The Keystone Cops, and more. I sure hope that the originals are all protected, so we don’t lose them completely to time.

That’s not a good week, that’s for sure. I’m sorry for these losses to you and your hubby.

Well, we already do that for our pets ... still, that seems so Big Brother-ish, doesn't it?

Yes, you sure are right about that. That kind of stuff freaks me out to no end in all so many ways, including what was written by the Apostle John in the Bible:
Revelation 13; 16-18.

If it comes to that, having to get one of those things, then Forget it, I’ll survive without it.

Like Hank Williams Jr said in a song, “I got a shotgun, a rifle and a 4-wheel drive, and this country boy will survive!”

I’m so sorry to hear that DYHWIH. Sending hugs and prayers your way <3

I am very sorry for the loss of these people who were dear to you and your husband DoYouHearWhatIHear. Sending warm thoughts your way and to their families as well.

Morning MMC. From winter to summer we went pretty fast. It got in to the high 80s yesterday. It wasn't humid though so it didn't feel crazy hot yet but still a warm night sleeping last night. Another day with temps in the 80s and a little more humid. Looks like by the weekend back to normal temps into next week. Anyone see the weekend from here? Have a great day!

Good Morning, Friends.
And just like that, we are once again over the hump and on the downhill slope to the weekend.

Let's review today's count figures, then take a look at a major Milestone that has moved in shockingly close.

Days to the Season: 194
Days to Christmas Day: 236

Now. Can you believe.
We are almost down to SINGLE DIGITS to the HALF way marker to Christmas Season 2018. It's only 12 miles down the road, now.
Then, we move into the second half of our journey.
(Amazing. Simply amazing!)

Our weather is amazing, too. Quite warm for this early in May. We reached 85 for the afternoon high yesterday, with today's predicted figure being 87 and tomorrow, 89.
(Getting a bit carried away there, Mother nature, aren't we?)
Today has commenced here in central North Carolina at 64 degrees.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
And thrill to the thought that Weekend Eve arrives once again, tomorrow!
