She is a little devil!! The groomers wheaten got her big girl summer cut today. My groomer sent a picture. She looks so grown up. Not sure I'm ready, but I guess it's time!!!
Too cute!!Sounds great; this memory made me laugh. I guess I'm not the only person whose c'mon sounds like fun type of suggestive face works like magic; it got me offers to come and visit for cookies and milk; to have tea in the garden, cut in on the BBQ and any other such desire that came to mind. I poured on the charm with the neighbour across the street who later became one of my best friend's grandma and she would take me up to the cottage with her as long as I wasn't going to be a "baby" about the horseflies and bugs.
Smiles of persuasion worked for me especially at Christmas.
The spiders have made their presence known recently too!! Now between ticks & spiders....EEK!!!
No kidding!! That's why I hollered at my hubby for fertilizing!! Ha ha!!

Our new manager has decided that our staff meetings should happen every morning, so it's putting me farther behind. I just need to adjust my schedule to match his, I guess.
I just had a tomato sandwich (a mater sammich, around here), and it was AWESOME!

Yes! Mom has the big carpenter ants. I have seen some small ones at our house!! I agree - I'm not a fan of bugs, (especially mosquitoes!!!) but I do love the fireflies!! It seems they stuck around longer than normal last year!
When I was little, I remember being in the back seat of the car as we drove past dark fields at night, on the way home from a local firemen's carnival ... and dozens of fireflies would be winking in the grass and in the trees like Christmas lights.
