It’s going to be a cloudy day with showers, highs near 58 degrees. I’m taking Rocky to obedience school this morning and then we will be attending a graduation party later this afternoon. That’s about it for me. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

What started off as a good day yesterday ended on a negative note. When I went for our change of tires, turns out I had accumulated 80$ on our fidelity card so it cost us almost nothing. But then at work, my boss told me that he is going through a difficult time and will likely go on sick leave for a possible burn out. I really feel for him, his confidence seems to have taken a hit as of late and he's taken my transfer to another store pretty hard. I am his right-hand person and I oversee pretty much everything at the store and I know he's expressed concern about having to do it all by himself. Hopefully he takes good care of himself and gets the help he needs to overcome this burn out. David asked me to promise him not to overwork myself through all of this and through the new store opening. He sees how demanding the job can be and he is concerned about me. I've seen worse things in my 20 years with the company, I will manage (I hope).
So this weekend will be all-out sun and I'm looking to recover from my busy week. But first, today we have to go grocery shopping, take care of David's medical card renewal, and we have some shopping to do for Mothers Day. We also have to clean the inside of our car and I have the usual laundry to do. Somewhere in there I'll find time to relax. Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Saturday! Looks like a rainy and chilly weekend. My daughter is supposed to have a softball game at 3 but I am thinking that may be canceled..we’ll see. Otherwise should be a quiet weekend. Enjoy your day!

Good Morning, Folks.
Welcome to yet another weekend. One of the 52 that separate us from Christmas.
Of course, by now, many of those weekends have passed and, in fact, almost half of the weekends that stood between us and the Season are nearly gone!
Today's data:
Days to the Season: 185
Days to Christmas Day: 227
Really closing fast now on the HALF way point to Christmas Season 2018.
In fact, we are now but 3 days away from that major marker.
LESS THAN HALF A WEEK!
(Can this really be so? Hardly seems possible, but based on past experience, it's likely true!)
The major rain of Thursday was but a memory yesterday and everything dried out quickly just in time for the higher temperatures. We topped out at 89, the precise predicted high, but still have not had a humidity invasion, so it was reasonably comfortable.
Today, we are forecast to reach 94, with 96 being our figure for tomorrow.
(At that level, let's hope the humidity continues to keep away!)
We are already at 73 degrees here, this morning.

Good morning .. well got to ToysRUs last night and picked up a laser tag set for our son for Christmas. It feels good to have a few gifts tucked away already for Christmas. We were planning on planting the new blueberry bushes we picked up last weekend but I think mother nature has different ideas. Woke up to a thunderstorm early this morning and the skies look like they will open up again with rain. Will have to wait until later today to see what the weather does. Have a great day!
A Good happy Saturday to you all. I started my morning awaking to Ariel, sitting outside our bedroom door whining and crying for us. So, I got up to make sure everything was ok; she just wanted either her ma-ma or pa-pa, and some lovings.
Our landlord had scheduled for another apartment open house again today between 1-4, so that really kills our afternoon with people trapesing in. We stay to keep an eye on Ariel and Shiloh, to make sure they don’t get out.
This week, we will be down to a month away from when we will be able to actually have the keys to our home and the homeowners will of have moved out officially; yea! It’s starting to get close to where we should start packing things up here to prepare for moving day.

That’s a great idea Minta, I’ve been wanting to make a pit stop there to see if they have any good reduced prices on their stuff.
Looking at the weather forecasted for today, it looks like it will be a sure bet, the game will be cancelled. All I see on the weather channel is rain nonstop till late tonight. And rain again for the next 4-5 days...
I just found some information on-line about 2018 Christmas in July.
It says, starting Sunday July 1st,
QVC will have their Christmas in July Kickoff.
Also, Turner Classic Movies will air the following movies:
Christmas in Connecticut on 7/4
Holiday Inn on 7/5
Meet me in St. Louis on 7/17
Hallmark channel will start “Christmas keepsake” starting 7/6 - 7/15
Hallmark movies and mysteries will start “Gold Crown Christmas” 6/29 - 7/8.
How about that folks! Great news!
