Christmas Countdown - 2018

Merry Monday! I am just working today and off for the rest of the week. It is really warm out there. My daughter had her soccer game last night and it was HOT! They subbed kids in every 10 mins and took a lot of water breaks. She has another game tonight. My cousin's daughter is staying with us until tomorrow..she is a year older than my youngest daughter so they get along well. Hope you all have a great day!

Anyway, I ended up buying only one item on QVC last night, but will for sure check in over the next weekend is on, to see if I can get more deals. I’m currently drinking a cup of coffee now and just watching HMM. We have my niece today, so that is my plans for today!

Poor pup!! Last year I remember the people across the street from us lit of fireworks until about 3am. Luckily, it doesn't bother my dogs but it kept me up off and on. I would think there would be a noise limit too!

Yes we would be going with our kids....16 and 13. I will have to look into that resort! Have a great time!!

Good Monday morning! It's already 40°C/104°F with the humidex at this hour, I can't even fathom what it will be like this afternoon. I'm about to jump into a cold shower and start getting ready for work, where there still is no air conditioning. I'll go buy an electrical fan for the office on my way there. My husband is on vacation this week so I’m completely off schedule. We don’t have any big plans, he’s just working on some projects around the house. We’ll be grilling out and hanging by the pool in between.

I just can’t stop myself anymore. Lol!!!

A message to Chad

You and your blue shirt are synonymous
While wearing anything else, you’re anonymous

So when I turned on QVC yesterday, imagine my surprise
You had a light blue polo on, I didn’t believe my eyes

Everything had fallen apart, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing
I wanted to rush to Pennsylvania and check on your well being

It’s been over a decade now, I thought we had a bond
Why didn’t you ask on Facebook and wait for me to respond

I’m not going to lie, seeing you in that, it just didn’t feel right
I know it was hot out for long sleeves, I feel for your plight

Valerie wore her red shirt though, Jim Shore wore his purple
You were the only one, who went and broke the circle

Sometimes you have to face the heat, you do it for tradition
You weren’t on screen for long, you wouldn’t need a physician

Think of the dreams you ruined, the jokes that went untold
If you ever again start to consider, a fashion choice that bold

So the next time that you’re on air, I hope to see that button up blue wonder

Good afternoon ... Yup summer is here and it can quickly go. I despise this heat .. way to hot to do anything outside. It was all about Christmas this past weekend. Between QVC and the Christmas movies on the hallmark channel

Tested a new gingerbread cookie recipe and yes they turned out good so I will be making them instead of the cut out ginger bread cookies this Christmas. Also picked up a couple more items to add to my FIL's coffee basket that we are putting together for him for Christmas

Don't feel badly. I completely spaced it out and had a Date Sunday with my brilliant bride.
We caught, and enjoyed, "Oceans Eight", dined at Portillo's(Italian sausage and beef w/mozzarella cheese and hot peppers sandwich(the lady went with sweet peppers...no sausage), an order of onion rings, cheese fries, and chocolate and lemon cake slices for a sweet finish.), and "John Wick - Chapter Two" when we got home.
