Hello there pal!! It's always nice when the work day is complete, isn't it. Those nights go so fast though!! Christmas movie tonight? What did you end up watching last night? 34th Street?

That's a great idea!! I've also read where you should set a timer for 10-15 minutes & dig into a project. When the timer goes off, you quit. They say you get a lot more done in that time than you think!! Good luck!

Yup it sure is nice to kick of the shoes and relax after work...Last nite i watched Miracle On 34th Street...Tonite i am thinking of Christmas In Boston...Enjoy your evening ahead Pal:)

What a great idea! I should definitely adopt that challenge for myself The house could certainly use it!

I have purchased my first gift for Christmas 2018! It's something for DD and I think she'll like it. I need to have her make a list, but she isn't picky and being 13, there are more movies, comic books, & art supplies that she likes instead of toys.

We have also made our Labor Day weekend plans & our 25th wedding anniversary plans (December). We'll get home on Christmas Eve. I need to be sure I have everything done before we leave so I don't come home to chaos!

Schools starts next Wednesday...

And indeed we are at the top of the week, looking ahead already to the weekend.
But, we get ahead of ourselves. We have the count to inspect right now and open house at the 'Pines this evening!

The numbers:
Days to the Season: 104
Days to Christmas Day: 146

And the next Milestone?
It is the 100-Day Season Window and it is now barely FOUR days off.
Scarcely over HALF A WEEK.
(Can this truly be true? Truly, it is!)

More rain yesterday, more humidity, more mosquitoes.
Every season here brings its problems.
Fall: Leaves to rake.
Winter: Ice, snow, freezing temps.
Spring: Pollen
Summer: Heat, humidity and insects.
But, I wouldn't trade it for life anywhere else!
Today's installment commences here in the capital city at 75 degrees, with the promise of more rain.

'Pines Day! First one of August. (Summer is slipping away, Foks.)
But at our inn of choice, Carl will see to it that we don't despair, with plenty of fired twinkies, gallons of iced tea sweetened to perfection and entertainment that can't be beat.
