Hello all! Just checking in. It's been a while. I hope everyone is doing well! :)
Nice to see you, frostyman!!
Hope you’re doing well!!

Merry Friday!

On Wednesday I talked to the owner of another antique/vintage mall and today I sent a request for a booth to start in September. I so hope I get it! This place lets you put in pretty much what you want so I can put some handmade items and other things I've picked up that was made at a date beyond which allowed at the current place I am at. The rent is reasonable and there is no commission at this time. Having one more place will keeping me hopping! :)

There was a brief downpour here yesterday and today the pond is up almost four inches! YAY!!

Have a merry weekend!

I hope you get the booth Meceka! Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!

TGIF!!!! I know it's August but is it bad that I am already getting excited and chomping at the bit for fall??? It hasn't been really hot here but the mugginess and the humidity have been nasty. I am so over it already and just want nice cool crisp weather with shots of snow on the horizon LOL. I have family and friends going on vacation and here I sit dreaming of a white Christmas LOL

Minta, I think it’s great that your doing that, and your not alone.
I’m getting itchy as well for cooler temps and a low humidity and no darn bugs sucking the life from you.

I’m ready for some fall colors, flannel shirts and pumpkins.

Good Afternoon/Evening MMC friends...hope everyone is having a merry day so far...Its been pouring it down here all day....Def. a sign of Fall...Nights are starting to draw in too...Soo glad my working week is over....Gonna have a few glasses of wine tonite and watch The Christmas Card...Enjoy the rest of your day/weekend ahead MMC friends:)

That sounds like a great night To me. You know what, I’m itching to watch a good Christmas movie too! I’ve been wanting to A Christmas Carol.

Morning MMC! It's pouring here this Saturday morning. I think it's poured at some point almost every day for the last month lol. But it's the weekend! It should clear out later today and tonight. Then we head towards a hot stretch through Mid-Week. I hope you all enjoy your Saturday!

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!
It’s going to be warm and humid today with showers & thunderstorms. I’m heading out soon, I have to make a big food shopping trip. I may take a ride to Bed, Bath & Beyond later this afternoon if the weather isn’t too bad. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be barbecued chicken and ribs. I also plan on making brown sugar & bacon baked beans and potato salad. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!
xx

The bugs are the worse ... the ones that like to have you for dinner, the ones flying around the outside light waiting for you open that door so they can make their dive bomb run to inside your house where they can annoy you even more, the national army of ants trying to find to invade your house. YUCK ... another reason I like the colder seasons ... way less bugs lol.

Good morning ... taking a break from getting ready for our sons birthday party today. Almost everything is done, just need to pick up a few odds/ends, sweep the floors, get the meatballs in the crockpot and go pick up the cake LOL. Have great day

Good Morning, once again, Friends.
The days come and go like ghosts.

But what's really spooky is the close proximity of our next Milestone marker, about which we will learn presently.

First, we present the following:
Days to the Season: 101
Days to Christmas Day: 143

Tomorrow.
Yep.
TOMORROW!!
We arrive at the 100-Day Season Window and pass on into double-digit Season count territory, as the year begins to wind down.
(So far, so fast!)

Rain yesterday?
Of course.
We are in precipitation rut.
Today is supposed to stand a better chance of being drier. That remains to be seen.
We have started optimistically this morning, with no rain coming down and a temperature reading of 73 degrees. You could practically take a bath in the humidity, though!

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
Enjoy your weekend.

Which one?

Hmmmm, that's a really tough question to answer. You know why, wanting to watch a Christmas carol, it's like it's a desire that just comes across me, almost like a certain mood that I am in, that I would need to watch it, but which year of a Christmas Carol to watch, Gosh, I think it just depends on what I am in the mood for.

I like them all (at least all the ones that I have watched to date). The one that I do not think I watched was the version that you and the Mr likes, truthfully, I do not recall if I have ever watched that one. There was a couple that were very, very old ones that was on demand, that I started to watch them a couple of years ago, but stopped because they were is such a poor condition, they were so chopped up and grainy, that I became disgruntled with the film and stopped paying attention to the movie itself and I turned them off.

There was another one I watched, hmmmmm, it was awhile ago, I think it was the 1951 version. I started watching it, but I don't think that I ever finished it.

To date, I think my favorites are, the 1938 version with Reginald Owen and Gene Lockhart, 1999 version with Patrick Stewart, the 1992 Muppets Christmas Carol with Michael Caine, the 1984 version with George C Scott.

Thank you Crown. This is so exciting to be here once more, at the threshold to entering the 100 day mark to the Christmas Season. Makes me just want to pop in a Christmas movie.

Well, Happy Birthday to you son.

Oh my goodness, isn't that the truth. It's like they have a cynical plan to hang out by that door and as soon as you open it, zip, they are right in the house. We are out here in the country, so I think that we are in the land of bugs. BIG BUGS too! My kitties have been going nuts, watching then thru the glass windows and when one gets in the house, well, lets just say it's days are numbered if it flys down within grasping range, lol!!!! I guess a little extra protein never hurts!
