This is the look of a dog that’s getting ready to bolt out the door as you try to leave and run around the neighborhood for an hour in the pouring rain. I should have seen it in her eyes. No more stopping by my aunts house and taking her for walks for awhile. She’s grounded.
Awww

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Sunday!
It’s going to be hot and humid today, highs near 90 degrees. I’m having a cup of coffee and working on the laundry right now. I don’t really have any plans for today, we’ll just be hanging out by the pool this afternoon. And I’m going to make lasagna for dinner. That’s about it.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, My Many Merry Milestone Meeters.
Yep. We have met the Milestone and it is ours!

Let's look at the exciting numbers:
Days to the Season: 100
Days to Christmas Day: 142

And there you have it.
We are there. Arrived, that is.
At the ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW!!
And tomorrow?
We start a DOUBLE-DIGIT Season count, as we chase down the holidays.
(Wow!)

Well say, now. We actually had a rain-free day all day yesterday and I was able to get some yard work done.
Make hay while the sun shines, they say. (The same applies to mowing grass!)
Today may be rain-free too, if we are lucky.
This morning has commenced sunny here in central NC, at 74 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, my Friends!
And a great week next week, under the watchful eyes of our own Minta and Edge, who will be filling in for me during this upcoming week as the Crowns journey to Florida and South Carolina to visit relatives.
See you back here one week from tomorrow!

Good evening all, or should I say Good morning? I know, it’s late. I feel asleep around 6:45 and didn’t wake up till 9:45. Oh brother, I knew I was tired, thought I would lay down and take a little nap, but I sure didn’t want to sleep that long. Now My internal clock is all screwed up.

I spent the morning and half the afternoon down on my hands and knees, scrubbing floors, baseboard moldings cabinetry and taking the baseboard radiators apart and cleaning them and the insides of them.

I made good progress in doing that in a couple of rooms. I’m planning to do every room in the house that way.

I hope everyone had a good day and I wish you an even better one tomorrow. Goodnight friends!
I hope you were able to fall back asleep~

It sounds like you had a productive day!!

Hope you can relax some today.
Take care, friend! :)

This, to me, is one of the big ones! 100 days until the season starts....amazing.

Not much going today. Lawn mower is broke, so that is out of the question. Teachers start school tomorrow, so I do need to get ready for that. Not too much left to do, so I might have a fairly laid back day.

Y'all have a good one! Happy 100 Days Until the Season!

The Patrick Stewart one, I can watch over and over again. There is so much I love from that movie, the soundtrack, the songs, the details of the time, the attire, settings, and of course Patrick Stewart himself.

(Ok, I have to admit, I’m a little bit biased, due to I am a huge Star Trek Fan!) LOL!!!!

I am a big Star Trek fan as well and Patrick Stewart is does a good job as Scrooge. It is not my favorite interpretation of Scrooge, but he does a great job being his vision of Scrooge. I really like the Bob Cratchit in that version and the Ghost of Christmas Past, but Christmas Present is not my favorite. I do like that they actually play Blind Man's Bluff at Fred's Party though.
I watch that version a few times every season.

100 Days to the Christmas Season!!! Have a safe trip to Florida and South Carolina! As always, thanks for counting us down!

Good morning, everyone!

It's going to be a hot one in Ottawa. We are currently around 90F with the Humidex and it should be reaching about 105F today. Hot. Hot. Hot. I wish I had more time to type, but I have to get ready to go for a run. I'm heading up to the trails today to get some shade and hopefully lower temperatures. It's still going to be quite warm.

I hope everyone has been having a great weekend!

I totally agree with you. Blind mans bluff game in great, the poker in the punch bowl, the dancing, and music. I think bob cratchits family portrayal is great.
The coldness of an England winter, etc... now I want to get it out of my Christmas movie box and watch it.
