Tutorial Bookmarks

Bookmarks are a feature designed to help you quickly find a place you want to return to on the forums. Just as a browser can have bookmarks, the forums do too.

They are handier than a browser bookmark because no matter what device you use to access the forums the bookmarks you save will always be there when you login.

You make a bookmark by clicking on the small ribbon icon on the upper right hand part of a post as shown in this picture. The icon will change color when you click on it.

When you later want to access that same spot you go to your user control panel and click on Bookmarks as shown in this picture.



You will find there are not only a lot of useful purposes for bookmarks but you can also edit them in ways that will make them more meaningful to you.

Is it just me and my computer, or do some of the threads not have a ribbon icon to add a bookmark in between the share icon and the # count?

I'm not seeing that...but I am not in a lot of threads right now. Would it be possible these threads are closed where you are seeing this? I'll investigate.

Just to make sure that I am looking in the right place, here is a screenshot of this thread, and I was expecting the ribbon to be in between the share icon and #6, maybe there is something/somewhere else I need to do or look?

This is what I’m seeing on my iPhone. Your are correct in what you were expecting to see. What kind of phone are you using?

It has to do with your membership level. It's a premiere feature. I've upgraded you to premiere, so you should see it -- plus a lot of other things as well.

I am on an Iphone, but it was an issue of my membership level. Thanks for responding and offering to help!
