My website is for anyone who want to do a retro style Christmas display or who wants to add retro elements to your modern display. It has a link to GE Lighting guides that go back to the 20s. Also patterns for Popular Mechanic plywood cuts out and how to videos.

I love the retro ideas you have on there.

Oh wow, that's cool. That's my fav era of Santa

About how much does it cost to make those multi point hanging stars?

I love GE Christmas lights, I love history, and my background is in TV production so it only makes sense that it all converges into a documentary of GE Christmas lighting.

It sounds very interesting.

Thanks to Covid, the production is on hold. I have several interviews in the can and had several scheduled for this summer.

I've got some trees with real thin spindly limbs that you can't hardly wrap with lights. I need some ideas for them, like maybe just hanging things like those Moravian stars and your lighted tinsel stars.

I love the red bells in those stars. That takes me back to when I was a kid. I may have to make some of those for the spindly trees.

With the tinsel stars, you can light it with flood lights. The new GE warm white LED floodlights are spot on to regular incandescent floods. You could light a large tree for less than 100 watts.

My wife and daughter are watching how you make those stars now. I think we're going to make some of those.

bwha ha ha @Jordan Rivers I was thinking that but too shy to ask! Thank you!
