I sold my company 5 years ago and retired. I've always wanted to write this family
Christmas story to share with others.
Is it based on true events?
Or traditions?
It is based on tradition. This is an original story I told my 3 young children and they never forgot it after all these years.
So how far back does it go?
The story goes back over 25 years and they insisted that I write the story when I had the time because it was a family favorite.

My father told me stories as a young boy that instilled wonder and imagination. So I would tell original stories to my children. This was their favorite story about finding a magic ornament in the woods. That allowed them to see and be transported into Santa's workshop.
Wow. Well no wonder they never forgot it!
Did you tell this story every Christmas?
Yes, Victoria, Joseph and John are the names of my 3 children. Even the dog in the book was our dog for 17 years.

Yes, I would tell it leading up to Christmas and they couldn't wait to look into the magic ornament.
