I am so sorry for the loss of your wife. My Dave has been gone four years and I still miss him every single day. I try to remember that I got to spend most of my life with the best man I have ever met and because of that I have been richly blessed.

Likewise, I am grateful.

Twenty Years & 0ne Day!


So, I missed posting yesterday.

Thanks as always to @Jeff Westover for a stable place to celebrate Christmas 24/7! Stable, as in three to four, maybe even five, places before MMC where some of us first met...gone! What a ride!

Speaking of some of us; Happy Twenty Years & 0ne Day to @AuntieMistletoeDear as well! We strolled in here hand in hand from the ruins of a previous place.

The Shoals area of Northwest Alabama is still home. Never have I lived beyond a twenty-five radius of the current abode.

I am still blessed to have a wonderful son a wonderful daughter with wonderful families that include six wonderful grandchildren! A great-granddaughter arrived last year!

The month before great-granddaughter’s arrival, my beautiful wife, best friend and mother/grandmother to our children, Cindy Ann, passed away way too young. The void is deep.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear about your wife. I know that there are no words that will make the pain go away. If there were, I'd definitely say them.

We are all here for you if you need to talk about anything. Sending you and your family warm wishes and hugs.
