These were taken at a shop in Kinston, NC on the way back from the coast on October 27. They always have nice Christmas merchandise even in the off season but they go all out by October.


1) Nicely decorated tree.

2) Table top display makes you want to browse -- and touch!

I snapped a few more signs of Christmas Blossom(ing) yesterday and today. I'll do my best to share.

Yesterday, I was out with a good friend. We went into Chapters (for the US folks, think Barnes & Noble. A classy bookstore with lots of other items, too!) She also enjoys Christmas. This made for some good Christmas viewing and discussions.

Upon entering, we were greeted by these Trees. No Christmas music yet, however:

I really enjoyed the layout. Their signs and stockings look great!:

Decorations and snow globes. Moose, polar bears, penguins, cardinals...

Get in the Holiday Spirit! ...oh. Clever pun!:

Scented candles. Not usually a fan, but I could always go for the Christmas Tree smell:

Next on our list, Wal-Mart. They were not yet fully decorated for Christmas. Quite the disappointment. But, it was still in better shape than my previous visit.

Merry Christmas seems to be heavily promoted at Wal-Mart this year. They have my support!:

Bulbs were everywhere. I should really check to see if we need more for our Tree!:

Finally... I had to bring my car in this morning. After it was all ready, I took a quick drive to Home Depot. I needed to purchase a AVS pipe, but I made sure to visit their Christmas section prior...

These signs were nice. I wish I had somewhere to put them:

Artificial Trees looked real nice! ...I prefer the real thing, but I still enjoy marvelling at these, too:

I really enjoyed the outdoor figures they had on display. Despite it not being entirely Christmas-oriented, the miniature Eiffel Tower really caught my eye:

And, finally... I really think this lamppost and banner would look great in front of every house. In fact, you could probably even hang a beautiful wreath on it, too!:

That is all i have for now. Hopefully I will get out to photograph more this weekend. After all, it will be the final weekend before the beginning of the Christmas Season!

Belks is now completely decorated!
