North Hillls series. This year at our other local mall.

1) Entrance sign makes it clear this shopping center is prepared for the holidays.

2) Wreath and garlands set the tone at this store.

3) Giant wreath looks a little lonely on this large blank wall.

4) More decorated railings feed my obsession for decorations of this sort!

5) Classy lamps, adorned for the season, flank this shop's front windows.

6) North Hills' giant main tree stands about 40-50 feet tall and is quite impressive looking, especially at night.

Cameron Village. Another shopping center about 6 miles from us.

1) Entrance sign adored in Christmas trappings.

2) and 3) Nearly every year since we have been here (50 years, now) Cameron Village has illuminated their trees in different colors. You have to be there in person to really appreciate it.

A few more from Crabtree.

1) More railing greenery and a wreath greet customers on the south end of the mall.

2) Singer/clarinet player entertained guests with Christmas songs beneath the giant center court tree.

3) and 4) Now, that's high Christmas. Crabtree really knows how to do it right!

Signs and wreaths series.
You never know when Christmas wreathes will pop up on signs, giving you a pleasant little seasonal jump-start.

1) through 3) Subdivision signs have a welcome-the-season touch.

4) Friendly looking lamp pole banner at another small local shopping center.

5) through 7) Now, these are the shopping centers where I enjoy doing business. Ones that don't ignore the Christmas season!

Well, that about does it for me this year, save for my final traditional shot to be posted on Christmas Eve.
