Good Morning! Looks like we may have a nice day afterall. The skies are blue but still a little chilly out this morning. Well it looks like we made it to the 200 mark.....awesome! Before we know it we will all be pulling out the Christmas decor again. I sure can't wait. Have a good day friends!

I hope yours is fun (and not too hot!)

Speaking of heat, we hit 99 yesterday (and high humidity to beat) with 100 + predicted for the next 3 days!
Great time for my AC to break down! They can't come out until Wednesday to look at it.
Oh well - it pays to have grown up in Florida with no air conditioning. Will be running fans with open windows for a while!

Days to the Season: 159
Days to Christmas Day: 201
Tomorrow! That's right. Tomorrow. The 200-Day Christmas mark.
Unbelievable!

Speaking of 'holics, where is our favorite Javaholic these days?
Not seen since Tuesday last.
Perhaps visiting Carl at the Shispering pines for a 10-gallon coffee sip?
 
cheesy Merry Greetings, Christmas Chums!

Beautiful weather here lately even with the electrical storm followed by a crazy gust of wind that nearly lifted the parked car I was in last night before the rain came.

Nice soaking for the Spring flowers and the leaves on the trees seem more green than the day before.

Temps been around 78F. Won't be around much this weekend, gotta a few chores to do around here tomorrow and it's a shame I'm not outdoors the sky is so blue not a hint of clouds.

Finally got around to unloading some Spring photos and a few new ones of O'Malley to add to his album.

I have Monday off so if I get my work done tomorrow, I'll have plenty of time to play here and there and still get out for a stroll in nature.

O'Malley is starting to develop some sort of hump in the middle of his back, not sure what caused that ... only Carl the Camel knows the answer.
 
Sunny, hot & humid again here today, with temps in the high 90's.
Having a tall glass of iced carmel coffee with whipped cream on top.

I'm here.. it's justbeen so hot that Ive hadto start making ice cubes for my iced coffee...... and that takes time..... WOW- CEDAR.. no AC? We went five days four years ago when Isabelle hit and there was no power... you got use to cold showers and sleeping on the carpet in front of the french doors... which made for a great view of the psserbys in the AM.... ( Jay kept coming by for a look)....

YABBA!... HEAT.. the Passion!!

Iced coffee yummy. So good on a hot day like this with a slice of banana bread .
Hope your A/C gets fixed soon crown, yes taking a warm shower does help cool you down.

Happy Sunday everyone, Here we go again sunny, Hot & humid again today with the temp already 81 here & climbing.They are talking about this staying until Tuesday with temps again in the 90's Mon. & Tue.

Waiting for crown to do the count down & then have to ask for her autograph since Jay named her on MCR last night.

Great job last night Jay, Can't wait to hear your next show.

Either way, Dom is correct - we HAVE reached "some kind of milestone", as he so drolly put it:
Days to the Season: 158
Days to Christmas Day: 200
That's right! The 200-Day Christmas mark is here!!
Not only do we have another milestone to celebrate, it also means that we now can look on to the next one, which happens to be the TWO-THIRDS Season mark - and it arrives just next month. Think of that, now. 2/3 of the way back again.
It's just not possible for the Season to be that close, is it??
(Been thinking about getting started on that gift shopping, yet?)


Hot, Hot, Hot!
We hit an even (or, odd, if you choose) 100 degrees yesterday. More of the same for the next 2-3 days.

My solution to the no-A/C problem: I open the windows at night and put fans in a couple of them. Gets the inside all cooled off, nicely overnight.
The next morning, I keep the fans running until the temp outside gets up to the inside reading. Then I close the windows, but keep the fans running to circulate the air.
Works rather well and it's only uncomfortable in the late afternoon and early evening.

cheesy Tomorrow is going to be a fantazmagoracle day! What's wrong with today? Nothing, but tomorrow we will be out of one day closer to Christmas.
I'm not at work tomorrow, but I arranged for someone else to announce the special countdown to Christmas over the intercom. Everyone will know I was behind it even if I'm not there.

Just stoppin' by for a quick "hi", most of my chores are done. Whew! More work than I thought. Tomorrow it's floors and then off to the Mall to see what I can find for my dad for Father's Day.

O'Malley the cat is a bit upset right now because we changed things around again and now he has no access to the top of the kitchen cupboards, one of his favourite perching spots, so he stormed out the door and said he was going to the Shispering Pines where he feels understood. Yikes! All that will come of it is he will find out from Carl the camel how to out-smart us.

Hi all...Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. The winds are high here today and grey outside. I'm surprised it hasn't started raining yet. Just got my house all cleaned up and ready to relax. Have a good one!

Ugh, the weekend is over.. it is still really hot here! I just finished watching the Patrick Stewart A Christmas Carol.. I made some tropical ice tea and now I am unwinding with my Christmas family..

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!
