:hello: Wakey-wakey Crownster!

WAKE UP!

< This message was brought to you by Binger >
Oh, gee, thanks, Auntie. My ears are still ringing!
You can just tell Binger for me............. oh, never mind.

Yes, Dom, it is indeed July already and we can begin planning for our next (2/3 Season) milestone less than 2 weeks away.
And after that, we will be under a month to double digits! Can you believe it??

Days to the Season: 135
Days to Christmas Day: 177

A nice comfortable 69 outside here in Raleigh at this hour with lots of sun.
The predicted rain did not fall yesterday and now none is in the forecast until the weekend. I got some outside work done yesterday.

After 23 years, the old Crown Vic's bright trim has become all cloudy with acid rain and other contaminants. It's going to be a long project with fine grade steel wool and metal polish but the results will be worth it. Maybe I'll post a photo.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, everyone!
Keep that Christmas song in your heart.

cheesy 177 days until Christmas! YABBA!

I like the sound of that! I'm starting to panic like I did last year around this time because I'm a tad behind on my Christmas gift readiness project.

I did pick up a cool board game called Bump & Jump for my second youngest grandson, but in the end it might go to his dad because I'm sure he'd like it too. It's a combination of checkers and chess.

Nice weather here today, saw a few rather large mosquitos a few days ago, one took a chunk outta me.

Would love to see the finished product of your Crown Victoria - oh Crownster.

cheesy Happy to hear your Chili party was a big success, Holiday!

I had chili dogs the other day in a pita-like bun. Yummy!

Crown are you still counting sheep?

Wake Up, Crown so we can countdown the days remaining ...

Alaska! Java! No Sleep for Crown! YABBA!

Good morning!! It's been pretty quiet around here! Everybody out enjoying the nice weather??? I left work at 12:30 yesterday to enjoy the day on the lake & it was totally awesome! :-D My hubby is on vaca all week, my job is really slow b/c our big customers are closed for summer shut down (inventory) so I am hoping to leave around noon again today! :) So far it's a beautiful day!!

Who else is going to watch the Christmas movies on Lifetime this weekend???

Have a great day!!!

Holiday,

I am with you!!! Can't wait to watch the movies!!!

Hope everyone is having an awesome start to Christmas in July.

I am so excited 175 days to go!! I also am feeling some pressure like I need to really get shopping going (I have some done) which is crazy, I know.

Ah! So my good friend Binger has a confederate, have they. Hmmm...
Well now, relying on Auntie's inherent fairness, I'm sure I can count on her to return the favor vis-a-vis coffee and der Binger when I leave for a brief vacation (starting a week from tomorrow).

Good Morning, all!
Another bright, sunny, beautiful morning here in Raleigh.
We stand at 68 currrently and the humidity has left (however temporarily).
I could use a good walk!

Days to the Season: 134
Days to Christmas Day: 176
A mere 12 days to the 2/3 Season milestone!

I've been working my fingers to the bone this morning with tiny pieces of 0000-grade steel wool and "Blue Magic" metal polish. Bit by bit, the old Crown Vic's bright trim is looking like new again.
(And 1985 Crown Vic's got lots of trim!)

Well, have a Wonderful Wednesday everybody.
(And Holiday, what can you see today?)

Cedar! I was typing as you were posting.

I can't be too sad when my foil Binger is gone as long as you are around, my friend!

*Auntie, hope O'Malley is a good boy at the doctor's office today! cheesy

He is just going in for a routine visit I hope and nothing serious...

What?? Me AGAIN???
How sad! Where IS everybody?

Crown? Auntie? Holiday?....Anyone?...

~Well, a good Thursday morning to all (?) of you lurkers out there! :-?
I woke up fairly early (5 am.) and couldn't go back to sleep. We had a tremendous thunder storm with brilliant light show...the whole nine yards. Bix was so scared, he ended up laying next to my head! I looked out of the bedroom window and saw the wicked witch of the East ride by on a broomstick...lol!! Or was that a flying Monkey Clump? heehee!

Have a great day everyone! I'm outta here!

:treeguy:

So I gather, as I read back through the posts, that Monody Clump is not really a term of endearment...That explains alot...Anywho...Another day, another $.65. Hope everyone has a great day! We've got a dose of something in our house...even one of the cats are sick...So to the vet she goes and maybe to the Dr. we go...Such is life...And all of this right before we are on vacation...Oh well...I already have the time off so I'm going to enjoy it no matter what we do...Hard to believe that tomorrow is the forth already...Seems like Ground Hog Day was the day before yesterday...Have a great day guys!

Jay

Ah! The Fourth of July! Always associate it with the mid-point of the year.
From then, it's a downhill coast to Christmas.

Good Morning, all!

Days to the Season: 133
Days to Christmas Day: 175
Days to the 2/3 Season milestone: 11
By Saturday, we will be down to single digits to the 2/3 mark.
Now that's something to shoot off fireworks for!

A pleasant 72 here in Raleigh at this hour. No rain predicted until at least Saturday. We are supposed to have a dry 4th with mid-90's for temps. At least the humidity is supposed to be a bit lower than usual.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, everyone!
And I hope you enjoy some nice Independence Day activities tomorrow.

That's on our short list of possibilities, Emski.

cheesy You want me to harrass Binger while you're on vacation. Say no more, I'm your gal! Sure I like to have a sprig of mistletoe in my hand now and then, but there's another side to Auntie Mistletoe that isn't always so dear. HaHa.

*Auntie, hope O'Malley is a good boy at the doctor's office today!

He is just going in for a routine visit I hope and nothing serious...

Yes, it was just for his annual check up and shots. He weighed-in at a whopping 21.5 lbs. I figured 20 so I wasn't too surprised. However, the female VET was not on vacation this time (last year we saw her partner) so she gave me a meauring cup for O'Malley the cat's food and he has to lose three lbs. by next year and two the following year.

Sure glad I'm at work five days a week so I don't have to hear him cry about it. Anyone feeling sorry for my husband? He wants me to take a poll. HeeHee. I honestly don't think he's overweight, he's mostly muscle, but he is having a bit of trouble reaching a certain spot on his back when he's grooming. So, we'll attempt to get him into shape.

I told the Vet. "I've been working on my abdomina tuck and feelin' good". She said, "the instructions were for your cat." HaHa.

Jay

That's a downer. Hope it doesn't put a damper on your plans, Jay. Hope your kitty perks up soon.

:hello: I had a Christmas-kinda dream before I woke up at 3:45 this morning. In my dream, my husband and I were in a new place (never would live there, but it was a dream) and we had a few friends over and were having a party when I heard the sound of my dad's car drive up. I looked out and saw my dad take a fully cooked turkey out of the back seat, he put it on the trunk of the car and proceeded to carve it right there.

I said, "everybody hide downstairs!" (not sure why, I'm an adult and I can have friends over if I want).

I went through a hall to open the door to invite my dad (and the turkey) in, but the halls never ended, it kept going on and on and on and curving round one way and another until I got really frustrated and woke up.

Never got to taste the turkey. BooHooHoo!

Guess what I had for lunch today?

A turkey sandwich. My husband made breast of turkey while I was at work and surprised me.

Am I spoiled or what?

TurkeyYum.gif

Keep a Christmas thought in your head. Who knows, maybe you'll dream of turkey or eggnog (and get to taste it).
