To effectively scream, one must be on the Motown label! If today's so-called singers can't do it like James Brown, they need to sit down and shut up. And what is it with catching your breath after each line? Even Faith Hill does this on occasion. That drives me nuttier than abnormal.

So True! So True, RJon!...I just hate that 'breathless' sound...singers today are 90% air, 10% substance..boring.

Yes, we are down to our last day before the 1/3 Season mark.
Tomorrow we officially move from the first third to the second third of our Season count. After that - GASP! - only ONE more third until the Season! (Now doesn't that make it seem close?)

Fifty-Five for the morning commute today with the promise of a high in the 70's again. Looks like it might rain, though. (We still need it!)

Cloudy with temps in the 40's here, hoping that the sun could shine through today.

Week-end planned for putting all the Christmas in there rightful place, so we can prepare the porch for our Easter celebration.

Tomorrow we'll hit the 1/3rd mark, CELEBRATE everyone it's getting closer to Christmas.

Good Morning Everyone. Nice to see all us Christmas Fanatics are rubbing off on Dom. I knew it would happen sooner or later...*L Lot's going on for me this weekend. I plan to go visit my brother and his wife who just had a baby. And I need to take DD to another cousins Birthday party on Saturday. Should be a good time. Hopefully the weather will stay nice. Happy, Happy FRIDAY!!!! Hard to believe we are almost to the 1/3 mark! Where has the time gone??? It's gone fast, which means we must be having FUN!!!

Well, our 3 days of sunshine in a row has come to an end today! But boy did I take advantage of the sunshine yesterday! I went for a walk after work ~ I think everyone in our neighborhood went for a walk yesterday ~ and we grilled out last night! We were outside at 9:00 yet last night with out a coat! How awesome!! It's been raining all day today, but it sure was nice to get a glimpse of nice weather!!

Anyone have an plans for St. Patty's Day weekend? There are a couple Patty's Day parties we'll probably go to tomorrow night & Sunday is a St. Patty's Day parade ~ not sure if we'll go to that. Depends on the weather! Enjoy your visit to your brothers Annette!

Thanks Holiday..Your weather sounds like what mine has been. Alot cooler this morning thou and the weatherman keeps saying rain or flurries. Nothing yet but we could use some moisture that's for sure. No St. Patty Parties for me. I do plan to make a corned beef and cabbage and maybe some nice dessert for after dinner.

anyone have any plans for this weekend? unfortunately i have some housework to catch up on and i also have some work to do on the pc.

weather here is cold, dull and not very pleasant, nothing new there then! (roll on summer, then we'll be that step closer to christmas!)

The sun is not shining (I wish it was).
The birds are not singing (I wish they were).
Instead, it is overcast with the threat of rain.
HOWEVER, Cedar has found the perfect wig, Jay has danced himself to cardiac perfection, Binger has found a "10" coffee blended to a "T", I have just awakened from a long winter's nap on a mattress with just the right sleep number -- and all is right with the world!

Actually, the real reason all is right with the world is because we have just reached the 1/3 mark!
The Ides of March brings our eyes toward the second third of our trip back to the Season.
Days to the Season: 243
Days to Christmas Day 285.

Good Morning Everyone. Blue skies here today..but chilly out! 29 out right now...woke up to some frost on my car. Should warm up 44 today with a few sprinkles of rain. Had a nice time getting together with my brothers family last night. We all headed off to the hot springs. I hope everyone has a good Saturday.

1/3 the way sounds great. Next month I start looking for Christmas presents to tuck away.

Greetings, Y'all! I'm pretty sure the Groundhog got it wrong. There are signs of messy spring weather on the streets and sidewalks and a few paths here and there, but there is still about five inches of snow and several snowbanks left to go. I think we'll be seeing snow around here for at least another four weeks.

We've had a few snowfalls last week, big fluffy flakes, but yesterday was a bit more mild, I could have made a snowman, but I didn't have time.

St. Patrick's Day is coming up on Monday and I took the day off from work.

I'm going to meet my parents new kitten Jazzman and bring him an early Easter toy.
