Hey, Crown - don't tell Binger, but I'm bringing my favourite pillow from home with me when I head off to the conference tomorrow.

O'Malley and my husband will be on their own for a few days. I'll catch up with y'all early Saturday.

:hello: Your welcome, Miller4+

Cheerio and all that ...

I just wanted to say good morning to everyone.
It's a chilly morning. I really don't want to go to work today. LOL
My next scheduled days off aren't until the Tue and Wed before Thanksgiving. I guess it isn't that far away and I can wait until then.
Have a great day.

Auntie -- what a beautiful, warm Christmas post! I'm going to sneak back and reread it over the next weeks. I LOVE the part about Christmas being the most snuggly time of year!

Good Morning Friends! November 12th! Wow!

And so it comes to this...One day. One day until the rest of the world catches up with us and begins the process of preparing for the happiest, most sacred day and season of the year.

We carry the torch for Christmas all year long...Protecting it, nurturing it, preparing it for the big unveiling that is the Christmas season. We join in cyberspace with like minds and hearts. Enjoying each others stories and traditions. Cheering each other on in good times and comforting one another in bad. Community at its finest.

Life deals many cards. Some good and some not so good, but knowing that this community exists and prospers is a comfort that I could never explain to those in the outside world. We love one another in a way that few people who have never met can and it's all because of Christmas.

I've been at this for many years and a good number of folks have been by my side for the whole time. Some were here before me and some came after but each of us belongs. It is the belonging that I cherish most!

I'd like to say thank-you as well! Thank you to those that have been here all year and to those that come back as we get close. Thank you for being my friends, for listening to my rantings on the MCR station and for supporting me on days when I don't quite have enough to support myself. You are truly friends of mine!

And so I say Merry Christmas Season...It begins tomorrow folks, and God bless us, everyone!

Very cool indeed.....6 weeks tonight for me!!

Almost mid Nov already.
Decorations are slowly starting to appear in my neighborhood.......'It's beginning to look a lot like X-Mas!!'

:o) !!

Ah! Auntie, Jay - what can I say?
Great posts, both!
I think the Christmas Season has indeed been given a fantastic lead-in.

And speaking of that, where does our count stand?
Days to the Season: 1 (Um, that's TOMORROW!! Need I say more?)
Days to Christmas Day: 43 (Six weeks from tomorrow)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 15 (Two weeks from tomorrow!)

Well, folks, it has come down to this after a year of waiting.
Season Eve.
Tonight, please join us as we count down the minutes to the begining of our long awaited Christmas Season. It has always been lots of fun for the participants!

Just a bit warmer this morning, with our temp standing at 42.
Clear today, but rain predicted for the next two.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, everyone!
And Hoilday, it's a little hard to see the weekend from the peak of the week this time isn't it? That golden glow from tomorrow is obscuring the view!

And if all this excitement isn't enough, the 4,000 post mark will fall today.
Congratulations, everyone, on an all-time post record!
Thanks so much for your support for our thread!

Great post Jay! Speaking for myself--and everyone else on here, I'm sure--we feel the same about you and all the wonderful people here at MMC. What a perfect post for the last day before the season starts!
