Yes I agree Dom TGIF...I also don't work this weekend. Our weather has been strange here too. High winds for days although it has seemed to die down some this morning. The hi will be 42 today but not to get to excited because tomorrow it is only suppose to be 21..then on Sunday back up to 44. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

HAPPY HAPPY, FRIDAY!!! Anybody have any big weekend plans? Tonight a friend & I are going "shopping" for bowling bash stuff & either tomorrow or Sunday we are going shopping w/ another couple for clothes for the cruise. It's a shopping kind of weekend around here I guess. I'm just so darn happy it's FRIDAY!!!

I can't belive we are getting so close to the 25% mark! Before we know it we'll be going CHRISTMAS shopping!!

The temp stands at 44 with the promise of mid-60's by this afternoon.
Great day to clean up the old car.
Or maybe take a nice stroll down to the Shispering Pines Motel for a Fired twinkie with der Binger. I'll wash it down with a tall one of iced tea while Bing will have a vat of coffee.

Care to send some of your snow showers down my way??? So far it's been a sad winter in terms of snow. Had 2 small snow events so far and the snow was gone the next day.

This morning I woke up thinking about Christmas and the song winter wonderland stuck in my head. LOL! Great way to start of the morning. LOL!

Picked a couple christmas gifts yesterday so it looks likes this weekend I will be starting my Christmas book for this year so I can keep track of the gifts I bought.

Good morning! I love Saturday! :smile:

Yesteraday afternoon was so nice, I went outside & walked around the house...found some tulips & daffs starting to pop through the ground. The sun was shining (as it is today) & it was just beautiful! I could really easily let myself get spring fever...but I'm not going there yet!! I get spring fever already & it's going to be a loooonng Feb. & March! Lol!! I have to keep riminding myself to "THINK SNOW"....it's only supposed to be a high of 16 tomorrow & a low of around 6 or 8! BRRRRR! Definately not spring weather!

Have a super Saturday everyone!! I'm off to cruise shop w/ our friends...we are eating at Cheeseburger In Paradise....Pina Colada, here I come!!! :

Hello, hello, hello!!!!!! How the devil are you all??? Taking time out from my world plaid domination to say hi! The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful (yep, windy and raining) but since I've no place to go, I'm here chatting to you, my partners in crime (there must be SOME sort of legislation regarding coffee consumption, entertainment licences for operas and trade union guidelines for pas de-luxers and Dusty Impersonators - not to mention the strict working hours for wigs)

Amazing...but as was said in the beginning of the year very quietly the "countdown to the 2008 season" began on Nov 14th when nobody was thinking about it...and by the time the countdown thread started almost 2 months had gone by. That's just awesome...and makes the countdown more fun.

Ah! Dom, my friend - you understand perfectly why I devised this little idea!
