:hello: We weren't celebrating President's Day here in Canada, however three provinces enjoyed a new paid holiday called Family Day.
O'Malley the cat had a play-date with his buddy Ringo, lasted about forty minutes. That's the longest visit so far I think. I've only seen them together a few times, my husband usually borrows Ringo in the morning when I'm at work.
Today was a treat watching O'Malley shadow his little buddy around. I couldn't believe the tolerance he displayed while little Ringo explored O'Malley's lair and dry kibble.
When he headed for the litter box, I said, "nope, better not try that". We used the rest of O'Malley's litter to help the elderly lady across the road get from her daughter's car to her front door - she needed it for traction - we had buckets of rain and then of course the wind gusts picked up and everything started to freeze.
Today was dull and windy, but no more rain. Hopefully it will be okay tomorrow, but the temp. is expected to drop overnight. If it all freezes we're in trouble, if not - well it'll be messy, but we'll be able to navigate with some ease.
Here that Cedar? The creek is running again. Still have a towering snowbank at the end of the road and snow everywhere, but the rain reduced it a bit.

When the wind was howling I thought for sure I heard the shispering pines calling, "Jayyyyyyyyyyyyyish". Weird wild wind.
