I was outside early this morn, and I heard bluebirds singing, which is a real sign of spring. Will spring be early this year?
I hope so, we all need an early spring.

Bing, I think Tracy Grammer is the bomb. I heard her on NPR recently (last Sunday?) Doesn't she play violin, banjo, guitar...plus belt out the songs too?

That cat is the apple of my Mom's and Dad's eyes...She rules the roost...My Dad will actually sit on a hard kitchen chair rather than roust the cat out of his big recliner...We love her too! In fact she's coming to stay with us for a week soon...so we'll have four cats for a few days!!! Come watchh the fur fly at our house!!!

And it's still February!

Happy Hump Day! Hope you all had a good one! We had some snow off & on all day. Came down pretty good a few times, but didn't accumulate anymore! Schools all had a 2 hr. delay today. Blowing snow made the roads bad overnight! Calling for more snow tomorrow night!

You guys will hit the 1000 mark while I'm gone for sure! (Unless you hit it before then!)

Yep, I'm so excited I can't hardly stand it! The emails have been flying around every morning (between a few of us girls going) ...counting down the # of days of work left!!! 1 MORE DAY!!!! WAHHHHH HOOOOOOO!!! I've got some stuff packed, but I figure I'll finish up tomorrow night while hubby is bowling! I already know I'm forgetting something....oh wait...what more do I need besides a toothbrush & a flask??? :lol:

Hello everyone! A little rain this evening here in Montana. Had a pretty good weekend. I went to the Hot Springs near Yellowstone Ntl. Park on Saturday. It was so relaxing..the weather was mild and I had a gorgeous view of the snow covered mountains from the pool area. Friday evening my laptop was acting up so I called Dell to troubleshoot the problem. Come to find out my hard drive was "toast". Luckily I had extended warranty and it was all replaced free of charge. Didn't think I could live so long without the internet..*L But I managed to stay busy to say the least. I am slowly getting busy with work again and will be in full force come spring. Also, looking forward to coaching my daughters t-ball again this year. Hope everyone is doing well?)

Well, hump day has been and gone... tomorrow is friday, which is the 300 mark.... we will be at the 1000th post before long! (just out of interest, how does this compare to previous years?)

Anyway, hope you all have a great Thursday!

P.S: Was talking Christmas trees with my other half last night, and she too wants a really tall christmas tree this year, so it goes all the way up the middle of our staircase which is in our living room... she said it will be like the tree out of national lampoons christmas vacation I'm glad to see I'm slowly getting her around to my way of thinking!!

Crashed early last night because of this cold and now I am up at almost two am from a coughing attack. Geesh..to think I have done so well all winter from sickness. Scoobie I think a tall tree like you have explained would be awesome. Wish I had the room in my house to do the same. Yes hump day has come and gone. I hope everyone has a great Thursday. )

A cold 26 this morning for the commute.
The breeze kept up overnight, though, and we were frost free.

Noted from the paper that today is Charles Durning's 85th birthday.
Those of us Christmas movie fans will remember him as the actor who played Santa in "It Nearly Wasn't Christmas" (1989).

Have a Thrilling Thursday, everybody.
Tomorrow is Friday and day 300 to Christmas!
Then a short trip to the 1/3 Season mark in just over 2 weeks.

Crown, Charles Durning is my FAVORITE charactor actor! A real scene stealer. Just loved him as 'Pappy O'Daniel' in O' Brother Where Art Thou.

Hello cedar, I hope you are having a good day today, I am getting ready for the week-end . I have to go to mom's to help her get ready for her new washer & dryer they are going to install upstairs for her.
