Oh Yabba....I think Spring finally hit southwest Michigan today. Someone said they saw it in Kalamazoo.

Hello all. Has anyone started to decorate yet? :smile: Just kidding. Seriously, I do need to get started earlier this year. Didn't get too much done last year because I'm one of the world's greatest procrastinators.

I've started trying to make the outside of the house a little nicer this year, thinking that once that gets done, the lights will look even better out there when its the Season .
Hope all is well and everyone is enjoing Spring!

I´m driving everyone nuts .. because of the bad weather I´m trying some new christmas craft ideas.. so little fimo gingerbreadmen in the oven and a lot of ideas for christmas cards in the printer...:elf:.. and I even discovered a medium with which you can put napkins on china ... I discovered it also works for christmas things printed out on thin paper... just apply a little layer of the transfer medium and bake it in the oven and it´s dishwasher safe.. I´m REALLY considering making my own christmas china this year... soo much to do and april already ;-)

It was a nice 61 for the morning commute through the pollen clouds. But the temp is supposed to drop all day instead of getting warmer, going down to 40 tonight.
Mother nature is saying: "Hey! Don't get too used to the warm weather yet!"

We do too! Frost on the firs this morning but 60 later this afternoon... Last year at this time it was in the 70's. The sun is out and it is bright!.. Let's hang some laundry out on the line Holiday! Yeah!

Hello everyone, sunshine here with temps in the 40's still cool but suppose to get into the 60's again tomorrow.
Snow is melting, flowers are starting to come up, spring is coming soon.
Tomorrow will do all the rugs here & hang them out for the first time in a long time. Come on Ladies lets have a hanging party.

cheesy And I enjoyed my last Eggnog only 48 days ago, how come it seems so much longer longer longer even longer than that?

Okay so it rained two days in a row and then we got more snow :cry: I'm on the search for my first Spring Robin sighting (or hearing). I see some grass here and there, but this morning on the way to work the light blanket of snow glistened under the street lights like it was Fall instead of Spring.

Today was day 10 of working without a day to relax and unwind (or shop) and since it was "hump day", we bought Ice Cream for everyone at work to have on their breaks and chocolate football eggs for the coffee room.

Two days to go and the weekend will be here. I can do it! Yes, I can!

I am my own best cheerleader.

Hey, Iron Eagle - this morning after jogging the indoor track whilst listening to my MP3 player tunes, I cooled down with Kenny Loggins "Celebrate Me Home". Thought of you and thought of Christmas and I'll tell you that propelled me through the day better than the thoughtful gesture of a fudgicle made with splenda.

HI CEDAR!!!!! How are the chickens doing? I'm glad to be back! The restaurant business keeps me busy, Im taking a head Chef at a new place in about a week, its a lot of fun.
Always a pleasure to see your posts though!
Hope everyone is having a great mid week, we finally got a bit of rain today, but that makes it perfect to watch some baseball on tv inside.

Happy Thursday! Well, it would be except I have the dentist this morning, and I have a slight irrational fear of the dentist! (all stems from a biking accident I had as a kid, when I knocked some teeth out etc etc) so yeah, will be pleased when thats all done! Stupid thing is, my mum works at the dentist, and my dentist is also a pretty cool guy but I just hate going there with a passion! Grrr.

Anyway, enough moaning from me! The sun is shining, its nice and warm (for April) and our house is almost finished on the inside! The caprenter finished up yesterday, the kitchen floor tiles were finished yesterday, all we're waiting on now is new carpets for the stairs and all rooms upstairs! Then comes the fun stuff of working outside in the fresh air! Can't wait!!

Anyway folks, the weekend is but a stones throw away, which means we are nearly another week closer to the season!

Anyhoo, catch you all on the flip side..

Good morning everyone. This morning starts my weekend.

Scoobie, I'm the same way about dentists. I'm sort of getting over my fear since I've had a few things done. But I still get nervous when I go there. I just had to go to a specialist who is going to redo one root canal. It's going to be $325. And that's with insurance. I sure hope he doesn't have to do anything else with my teeth.
