No kidding!! I was thinking last night how normally in May when the cotton starts flying off the trees, we shut our windows at night & turn on the AC so that my hubby can breathe (spring time allergies) ~ well the cotton is starting to fly, but we are shutting our windows by about 7 PM b/c the WIND is getting so darn chilly & we have to turn on the furnace!!! Geesh! What a wierd May!!
Tim has been going really fast this year its already nearly the end of may !!!!

Yeah it was cold here last night too, Usally alot warmer, But Im not complaning less time the AC has too be on and the lower the power bill will be........So Im counting down the day's till Christmas too, I can not wate at all!

The Wizard of Crowndom has returned.
(I finally figured out how that balloon works!)
And I indeed picked an excellent substitute counter!

Things are well at the cottage with one notable exception!
An animal of some sort (we think it's a possum) got into the AC ducting and died there. The odor is......well.....being a Christian person, I won't say it.
Regardless, some ducting has to be cleaned and/or replaced.
I only hope we can get it done before our first renters arrive on June 1.
Well, tomorrow promises to be a busy day, so I will get a jump start on Wednesday by posting the count now since I will likely have no time to get here tomorrow morning:
Days to the Season: 169
Days to Christmas Day: 211
My, My, My! Just look how fast that 200-Day Christmas Day window is approaching! Nothing like being away for a few days to see how far the count has moved!
Looks like I am back just in time to remind Holiday that from the peak of the week, you can see all the way to the weekend!

~Presenting, 'Opossum'...Odor De Jour! Hi Crown!~ Boy, nothing can ruin a family vacation more than a decaying animal rotting somewhere in the house. Same thing happened to my family when we went to our rented lakeside cabin and a squirrel died under the screened-in porch. We spent ALOT of time on the dock!! It's incredible how a powerful strong stench can come from such a small critter like a mouse or a squirrel. Don't EVEN want to think of what a opossum could do....P. U.!!!! Truly a weapon of mass destruction!!!!

Good evening friends. Wasn't around much this morning to post here. Hope everyone had a good Wednesday. Our weather is finally warming up a little more but with the warmer weather we are getting Thunderstorms and MORE rain. It's been an odd month of May here too.

Rain, rain, rain wish it would go a way for a little while. Trouble is when it does go away then we cry for it to come back. Guess there is no way mother nature can win.
Boy I am looking foreward to Christmas this year. I have been going to yard sales looking for new ideas but none as of yet. Its early in the year for very many sales right now but Im looking. I have a few new ideas and have got to get my saw and paints going. Then when the lights come out I have to buy a bunch of them. If all goes well I will try to post pictures.
I worked out in my yard today and got soaked to the bone. Luckily it was a warm rain, I did get behind my large pond all weeded and planted now for the bark mulch.
