Christmas Countdown - 2009

Good Morning!! Isn't the Countdown to the Season going great???? Only nine more days until we hit 300!!!!!

Whew. Nobody is merged. Everything is back to normal on the Countdown. Blood pressure returns to normal. Everything is good. Breathe deeply. I thought when I referred to "Binger 84" -- that it could never be undone. But... that was just a bad dream!

January 8th already!!! Hurray for January -- a new year filling our minds with all kinds of... whaever. Good thoughts and good dreams.

I, for one, am weighing myself once a week. However - my too tight at the waist jeans - are now comfortable. And, they were ssssooooo uncomfortable before! So that is good! How about you? What is that? You ask what my weight is? Are you insane? NOBODy knows what my weight is. (Especially my husband!) He has eyes- but he does not have numbers!!!!!

Maureen - I love the multiple mergings! And the plaid frosting!!! That is brilliant!!! (As are all your ideas. Where is that adorable plaid bear family? I am missing them!)
 
Much as I would like to take credit for the plaid frosting (ummm, plaid frosting!!) that's all Crown's doing. Ever at the forefront of genius, Crown has once again astounded us all (especially me - why didn't I think of plaid frosting??!!!)

The plaid bear family are entertaining all the other posts 2 or 3 pages back!!
 
eugh!

january sucks!!!!!! i have put weight on over christmas, the plan was to shift it in the new year - not gonna happen now that i am "with child" i seem to want to eat everything in sight.

can't be bothered doing anything today, i've got loads of housework to do but all i want to do is curl up in bed with my adrian mole books, they are hilarious!
 
Don't use that as an excuse, Missy!!!!!!!!! If you start "eating for 2" now, you're going to have fun after it's born. Feeding it yourself will only shift so much!!!!

i know mo, i need to behave. i feel like eating everything in sight, but i won't - promise! after all, i have my career to think about, nobody is really interested in a young fat actress! :D

(Actually, all of this is unfortunately giving Carl odd ideas for new refreshments and entertainment at the Shispering Pines)

Roseanne got her sitcom, too....:D....Oprah is the richest in Entertainment...:D...hahah just kidding

don´t worry bout the weight tho...breast feeding helps shedding the pounds better than any diet....but watch out when You stop breast -feeding then...haha........another thing.....it could happen You will loose Your Christmas weight before You start gaining the baby weight.....in the first 4 or 5 months....I hardly gained any weight

I'd argue that point. I never breast-fed (think it's barbaric but that's another story) and within 2 weeks I was back into my ordinary jeans, skirts etc. and at that point I was thin.

I think it depends on your metabolism!

Anyway, I also think we shouldn't turn this into a pregnancy countdown thread; we'll keep that to another one!!!!

Yes, Ma' am...I agree...depends on the women....but still breast feeding helps a lot...with most people......

and just so the thread keeps its sense....350 days till Christmas
 
Maureen -- I did notice that none of the men joined in! However.... it is hard to keep the topic of pregnancy from sneaking in.... only because the end result -- BABIES -- are so adorable!!!!!

So - to be fair and balanced ---- lets talk FOOTBALL! Hey - how 'bout that game?
 
I prefer Basketball......football is cool tho....how do You guys like soccer....and who do You think would win a game.....a team of easter bunnys or Christmas elves?

However,,, how much "sense" we have on this board.... isn't it all about fun? Because I have loads of fun... but I'm not sure how much sense I do have....Oh well, maybe I can absorb sense here. that would be nice.
 
lol....btw...I can´t have the Christmas blues...cos kandice is entertaining me the Christmas songs I taught her over the season...plus she always tells me that we need to buy a new Adventscalendar and that the Christkind will come soon...:D
 
Oh my gosh - that adorable little kandice!!!! give her hugs for all of us!! She has a beautiful little Christmas spirit!!!
 
I´ve done that already...plus the cooking and dish washing....now I´m settling for either a beer or cola...and a cigarette....*ducking in shame*
