That's right - only 1/3 of the trip remains.

Well, at last a nice sunny morning here in Raleigh with virtually no chance of rain today.
We currently stand at 70 wonderfully walkable degrees.

i had a lovely dream last night, it was october and my neighbours had all started to hang wreaths on the door and out christmas ornaments and lights in the windows, t'was very festive! cheesy

going for dinner tonight with my friend, very excited, i love my food!

WOOHOO 2/3 of the way to the season and HSN starts there christmas in july at 11pm et tonight. With hallmark having there ornament premiere over the weekend and hobby lobby putting out there christmas stuff and seeing all the christmas in july sales going on it is really getting me in the mood. I can't wait. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

It really is getting closer, isn't it??? Yay!!! I can think of some great ways to celebrate. Mostly they involve going to Michael's and buying the stuff I need to start some Christmas crafts. I think I may do that tonight, actually!

OK, what is our next milestone marker?
Well, you can tell from the count itself this time - it's the 100-Day to the Season mark, three weeks from today. After that, we will be down to DOUBLE DIGITS.
Incredible!

It's a bit cloudy out, but the weather service (remember when we called it the "weather bureau"?) says we will have another dry one before the wet stuff returns tomorrow.
Currently, it is 65 here in beautiful Raleigh.
(And yes, Bing, it has been a better than average summer weather-wise, so far)

Holiday, I'm on my way to the Shispering Pines. Carl says they just took a fresh batch of Mauradio Sugar Cookies out of the oven and the tea turned out REAL good this morning. YUM, YUM!
