Good Morning fellas. The sun is out and it would be a nice day....if Kandice wouldn´t be coughing real bad and had a running nose...poor thing even threw up, due to the slime in her throat....gon go to the doctor at 4pm...I´ll let You know how it went.

"Happy" Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. It was so nice here this weekend with cooler temps - could have been a little warmer for boating, but was nice for being outside!! This cooler weather is putting me in fall/cooking/baking "homey" mode! Lol! I just lit some candles in the house now!

Well I had to work this morning but made it a short day so I could watch the nascar race that was delayed because of rain. Now I have to figure out what is for dinner. I can't belive another week has flown by. I can't belive how close we are getting to are favorite time of year. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that I went to Ben Franklin yesterday & they are starting to put out Christmas things!!! They had a few trees up & some snowmen, santa's, wall hangings, sayings, etc. Very exciting!!! :grin:

JOHNOR - We had a couple mornings the other week with temps in the 40's!!! This morning it was 56 when I got up. That kinda feels like a "crisp" morning...for August! Lol!!

I've been doing too much manual labor the last couple days. I haven't even had time for a cuppa joe. Now that's just wrong.

Anywho, sorry I missed out on coversations today. Maybe tomorrow will be a little more relaxed...I hope.

One more thing ~ I ordered my 1st Christmas gifts today - 2009 Christmas ornaments from Bronners for 2 of my Goddaughters & one of the Fontanini Wise Men for another Goddaughters birthday coming up. I am giving her the entire fontanini nativity scene 1 piece at a time on her birthdays. This is her 1st b-day, but I gave her Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus for Christmas last year... It really seems like the season getting SO CLOSE now!!! :razz:

Christmasstar....in April....my school asked me to take the principal position and I couldn't refuse....b/c I am the instructional leader now...I couldn't coach and teach b/c my attention would be divided and you CAN do two jobs good, but you CAN'T do two jobs great....so i picked do a great job at education...

not that it has been easy...i'm pretty young and wanted to coach at least a few more years.....but it was just a great chance for me....baseball was my passion....and i think i have found a way to continue sharing that passion.....go to where the game is the most pure.....LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL....I thinks I can give back to the game and community there....so anyways...enough about that....

hi everyone....got up around 6:30am today....Kandice was coughing all night and only slept around 3-4 hours....which reduces my sleep to around.....1-2 full hours...I will let her inhale now and give her a shot of nose spray....then we head to my moms. My sister in law brings the two kids...so for around one and a half hours....I will be watching three kids...lol...one five-year old...Kandice (who is three) and my baby nephew Fabian who is 9months...and eating all day long.

On Friday I have my godchild over...she will be picked up on Sunday morning...and that is how it will be for the next two years. My best friend (my sis...that´s how we see each other) has to work every night...so I take her daughter every Friday through Sunday...will be stressfull...but I´m determined to calm that lil hurricane girl down...

good morning!

Off to work again today...sort of, it is only a short bus run in town taking kids from one end to the other which makes about a 5min drive. It will take me longer to check the bus and drive to the pick up point than to actually take the group to where they want to go. Oh well, I get paid for it, not enough, but still pay.

Seems like such a short time ago we were at 200 and 300.
Time just keeps marching right along.

Sunny and calm again here in the capital city of NC, where we stand at 74 degrees.
We were not supposed to get rain yesterday but it POURED down for quite some time late in the afternoon and into the evening. I just barely got the lawn mowed in time!
Well, they say dry today. We'll see!

I'm feeling happy today. I'm e-shopping for wooly jumpers to take back to Uni with me. Plus, I had a lovely milky coffee yesterday and put some ginger syrup in it to pretend like it was a Christmassy Starbucks. It wasn't quite the same, but it was enough to make me giggly and silly :yahoo:
