Welcome tuesday. Closer to friday. This weekend my Wife and I are going to go watch the new Harry Potter movie. Should be good. I wonder if there will be any Christmas movie previews before the movie! I have been seeing back to school advertisments around so you KNOW the fall is coming! have a great day all!
 
Good morning everyone,

Glad to see that everyone is excited for tomorrow. I know I've been saying it for a while, but 100 days is an impressive milestone. The Countdown until the Season will look so nice in only double digits! It's raining in Ottawa again, at least I am back at work and not missing anything outside. Hope everyone is enjoying their Tuesday and looking forward to tomorrow as well as next weekend.

not that it has been easy...i'm pretty young and wanted to coach at least a few more years.....but it was just a great chance for me....baseball was my passion....and i think i have found a way to continue sharing that passion.....go to where the game is the most pure.....LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL....I thinks I can give back to the game and community there....so anyways...enough about that....

Don't feel "stupid!" I actually had to look it up last week to make sure I had the right date. Here is the post where CROWN explains the date.

A word of explanation. We are running a dual countdown in this thread - one for Christmas Day and one for the start of the Christmas Season (November 13). Most of us have agreed that we look forward to the entire Christmas Season rather than just to Christmas Day.
Why November 13? No reason, really. It just seems about the right time to regard the season as arriving. It is exactly 6 weeks before Christmas Day and is about the time the country at large is beginning to get into the holiday spirit. Most of the stores have decorated. And starting the season then gives us exactly 50 days (Nov 13 through Jan 1) to enjoy being "within" the season.

Hope that helps! Although I tend to wait until November 25th to get into Season, maybe I will allow myself that extra 12 days of celebration this year. It seems only fair, especially since I am counting down with everyone here. :)

Well not much going on today. It is storming here and just nasty outside. If it stops later I might run to the store but right now the plan is to clean my bedroom and try to organize the coat closet. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
 
I had a dream last night it was Christmas eve and woke up hoping it was Christmas but it didn't happen, oh well. Today I am going to relax at home and then my boyfriend is taking me out to dinner for my birthday and gonna come home and watch movies, nice and relaxing day.

My office is still rearranging, so I'm still moving furniture. I DID get a cup of coffee first, though, so it's all cool.

Hey everyone!

Today is my last day of vacation. School starts Monday, but I have three days of inservice/professional development. School seems to start here earlier and earlier.
 
Only 142 days left!! The Christmas season is almost here. Cant wait.
Is anyone else working on their themes for this year?

the day with my niece and nephew was nice...and that little 9 months old guy really seems to love me...when i left the room...he would start to look sad and start crying...he was so so sweat....but he...just as Kandice and his sister....looks like he has the measels. but all of them are perfectly healthy...it´s just been those stupid biting midges...lol...people have been looking at us like crazy when we were wlaking through town...lol
