Christmas Countdown - 2009

I've never posted in this thread before I think - but I'm suddenly strangely really excited for Christmas, even though it's a while away. I can't wait to start buying presents, darker evenings, snow (ha - like we'll get any of that before Christmas!), etc etc. Ahhh

It's Saturday, I have tons and tons of stuff to do, so thought I would start by coming here and saying "Good morning"

Just think, in 3 days we will be down to double digits in our count down.....that would be like.....really close.

I wish I could put my outdoor countdown sign up next week but the rules for the apartments say I can't until the day after thanksgiving. Maybe I will buy a smaller one for inside this year. cheesy

Well not much on the plan for today. I am going to make some muffins later and maybe some cookies to eat while I am watching the nascar race. The rest of the day will then be devoted to nascar coverage.

Not much going on here in northern California. It's already hot and not even 9:00 a.m. Temps will be in the high 90s and low 100s next week. I will be SO glad when we get some fall weather, and even gladder when more Christmas things are out in all the stores.

Another beautiful Fall day in Ottawa! Clear skies and very little wind. A perfect day for golf, which is exactly what I am using today for. A friend phoned yesterday and asked if I wanted to go... I couldn't turn it down. Hopefully my golf game reflects the weather, which will not happen. Here's hoping for a decent round at least.

Getting down to the final days of triple digits! I'm glad that everyone on here is echoing each others excitement. Christmas, here we come! Well, I should prepare to be picked up for a round of golf. Have a great Saturday everyone!!

Well heres an idea if you don't share a room w/anyone maybe you can put it up in your room. Or if you do share a room you can put it in your closet. Just hang it on the inside of your door. That way whenever you open up your closet door to get something to wear you can see it!

Good Sunday Morning everyone! I'm so tired. Only slept for 4 1/2 hours after being up for 22 1/2 hours!!! I'm so stressed out with school and work and well...life in general that I'm just exhausted mentally. I'm doing ok in anatomy but, I swear the students put in more work than the teacher does for this class. He's a terrible teacher, never can answer your questions when you ask one and he doesn't do anything to prepare for class. That makes extra work for me to prepare for the test each week because I'm basically teaching myself. Anyway, I got my test back yesterday and I had the highest grade in the class!! 89%. I was thrilled with that. I'm hoping to make the Dean's List but, I need to get an A in this class and I don't know if that's gonna happen. Keeping my fingers crossed though. Have a good Sunday everyone.
