Just hanging around today.we were busy bees yesterday,we had Karate,went to visit my sisters and mum.kids were playing with their cousins,and got the adults to buy a few things from them .lol

We went to the apple orchard today. We got lots of apples, apple cider, and apple donuts. It's getting cooler and I love it! I can't believe that October starts next week!

Tell me about it, Hoosier....September has come and just about gone...I remember being jacked about it getting to 100 days before the season...and here we are with less than 100 days til Christmas...it's going to seem like Halloween is next week....my lights go up in about 3 weeks (hate putting up lights in real cold weather)!

I can't belive it. He was looking so good and in 4th place with 35 to go and then gets wrecked. I don't know what he needs to do to get some good luck but if he can just get a little they better watch out. Well there is always the colts game to look forward to.:?

I'm getting jealous with all this talk of cooler weather...it's still awfully humid & hot down here. Oh, well. "This, too, shall pass", right? What I need to do is make another trip to Hobby Lobby. Walking those Christmas aisles always boosts my attitude!
It's going to be a busy week. It's Homecoming week at our kids' school, and everyday the kids dress differently. Today was "Tacky Day" and all the students are supposed to dress as tacky as they can. Maybe I'm still a child of the late 70's, early 80's, but some of them didn't seem too bad! "Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive, stayin' alive."
Spotted in Wal-Mart Saturady night: a guy in cut-off shorts and an undershirt wearing a Santa's cap!cheesy
Anyway, I hope you all have a great day!

I have returned home safe and sound from a tournament in Rochester. What an absolutely beautiful weekend! It was incredibly sunny all weekend and I've received quite the burn. Yes, I applied sun screen daily but it does not help when you're constantly sweating. The trip was quite fun. I saw a store called The Christmas Tree Shoppe. I wanted to go in, but I did not have access to a car and we were not in its vicinity while we were in Rochester either. Quite disappointing. At least I know it's there!
I returned home to my girlfriend being adamant about going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Ottawa on November 11. In the past few years, I've really wanted to go and she has been hesitant. I'm glad she's given in! We will probably order our tickets this week. I'm not sure if I want to sit in the $20 $40 $50 or $60 seats. As long as I can hear the music and see some things at this style of concert, I will be pleased. Suggestions are welcome.
Anyway, it's Monday! Although that usually puts a damper on things, the countdown is looking fantastic! The 50 day mark until the Season is scheduled for Thursday and I am excited to celebrate that date with everyone. The commercials are probably about only a month away and the Christmas decorations are even closer!

Good morning everyone! I woke up with a killer headache but it's starting to go away. The nice, cool fall weather must have run away from SWPA. It's 70F right now and is bound to get warmer. :-?
At least the leaves are starting to change on the trees around here. I might go to Pat Catan's today and get some fall colored beads and make some "fall" earings. Maybe that will force things along!

The first time I went, I got the $20 seats. We were off to the side in a half-ring arena. My neck hurt from holding it to the side the whole time, but it was still amazing!! No matter where you sit, you'll enjoy the show!
