Christmas Countdown - 2009

Beautiful weather out today...high is 72 and I've got some yardwork to do....should take too long, but then it's in to watch the football games and Nascar (I hope we get a win today Made)!

I would love for junior to get a win today and he has won at dover before. If we go by practice though he was 34th yesterday. :-?

Today is a day to relax and watch nascar and football. I am lucky and again this week because the colts play the night game tonight so I can watch the race and not have to flip between the two. I have my cheese dip in the crock pot and the chocolate chip cookies just came out of the oven so I am ready. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all.. well it's the evening now here so most of today is over - I never post in this thread because I'm not really sure what to say but yep

I'm excited about Christmas but whenever I mention it everyone moans at me that it's too long away.. oh well

What a nice Sunday afternoon. It's rainy and dreary outside, but I have my slippers on and I'm nice and cozy in the house. My church threw a small party for me after the service today to celebrate me graduating from college. That was a nice time.

I think I might nap today. I usually don't do that, but I feel a nap coming on. When I wake up, I might warm up some apple cider, put something festive on the TV, and continue unpacking and decorating the house.

A very wet morning here. This is moving week, by this time next week we should be all settled in our new place. I forgot to call cable about the move so I may be off line for a few days :-?
Lots of cleaning and still some packing to do between work and other stuff (I have a wedding cake to deliver the same day they guys are coming to move all my big stuff over!)

what is everyone doing this week? I picked up the halloween decorations for my bus at the $ store. (window stickers and spider webs) Every year on the 1st of Oct. spider webs begin to appear on the bus. They start out barely noticeable and just grow and grow until by halloween the whole inside of the bus is covered in them. It has become a contest with the kids to see who can find the first hint of spider webs, and for me a challenge to see how many I can sneak up before they are spotted!

Good morning everyone! I've been away for the better part of two weeks with some craziness at work. It looks like I missed the 100 days till Christmas milestone AND the 50 days till the season milestone! Sheesh! Sure looks good to hop back in though and see only 88 days until Christmas!

Today I am going to a charity golf tournament for work. I always enjoy this b/c it is a lot of former sports players that are there. I like to rub elbows with them and feel important from time to time. Plus, the high today is only 65 degrees and sunny - and I get to spend the entire glorious day outside! Yay!

Okay, I should hopefully be back on a much more regular basis now! I've missed you all. My day just isn't quite the same with out coming to the countdown first. Hope everyone has a great Monday

Hello folks!!

First time back since Xmas week 08.

Even a little earlier then usual for me, as we are not even into Oct. yet and still have the Can. Thanksgiving weekend to get through before starting to think and look foward to the start of the Xmas season.

But still looking foward to signs and things that will slowly but surely get me into the Xmas season and spirit.

I don't know about you folks, but this year has definetely flown by so far.

I'll be keeping an eye on the countdown to the season in the coming weeks.
