"That's crazy! So, I would imagine that she goes to Fanshawe? Good for her! I will certainly do my best to let you know whenever I return to that area. Don't worry, I am not a coffee enthusiast either!"

Im from london as well. I work by Fanshawe :)

Ok I officially have something to keep me busy other than school...my mom's birthday is coming up & she wants me to come home & throw her a little girls night in pajama party. I'm excited I now have a reason to come back home to Atlanta :)

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a good day today! Bout to fall asleep watching my dear Cowboys LOOK LIKE JUNK!!!! Oh well....at least Christmas is another day closer....

Christmasstar...I just wanted you to know something....bus drivers are the first to see our kids and the last one to see them....and when you give them that smile that I'm sure you do....it just starts their day off right....after reading some of your posts...one of the first things I decided to do was to include our bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, and all support staff when talking about the major decisions impacting our school because there are many more people besides just teachers and principals that impact our school....as a principal, I want to say thank you for going that extra mile to make the day special for your kids!

A friend of mine just asked me to put together a CD of Christmas songs, i've got loads of them and it gives me an excuse to listen to them all tonight, so i'm in my element. :D

I'll post my tracklist later, gotta design covers as well.

this is the tracklisting i ended upon, also made a nice set of cover art, i'll upload it if anyone's interested.

1. Wham! - Last Christmas
2. The Pogues - Fairytale of New York
3. The Jackson 5 - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
4. Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone
5. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas is You
6. Tom Jones & Ceris Matthews - Baby, It's Cold Outside
7. Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song
8. Andy Williams - It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
9. Johnny Mathis - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
10. Frank Sinatra - Let It Snow
11. Bing Crosby & David Bowie - Little Drummer Boy / Peace on Earth
12. Kim & Mel - Rocking Around The Christmas Tree
13. Cliff Richard - Mistletoe and Wine
14. John Lennon - Happy Christmas (War is Over)
15. Paul McCartney & Wings - A Wonderful Christmastime
16. Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas?
17. East 17 - Stay Another Day
18. Bo Selecta! - Proper Chrimbo
19. Slade - Merry Xmas Everyone
20. Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
21. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Canon Rock

A lot of these songs will probably be unknown to many of the American members, but you should check them out! (except the Tom Jones & Cerys Matthews cover of Baby, It's Cold Outside - it's awful! haha) bear in mind the cd is for a 25 year old woman who loves cheesiness so a lot of these songs suit her perfectly. cheesy

Sounds good. Yes, she does attend Fanshawe and really enjoys it there.

Good Morning!

It was so chilly last night we actually turned on the heat in the house for a short time. (about 1/2 hour, just long enough to take off the chill)
This morning it is raining and very windy, definitely fall now!
Still packing and cleaning and moving...will be until hopefully done on Saturday. I am so glad I don't do this very often!cheesy

Have a great day everyone!!

I Think santa somehow takes it and then uses it on christmas eve to give him enough time to deliver all of those gifts.

Great answer!!!

Ah! But now you've learned something - shows that you are well-grounded.

Good Morning, Christmas Enthusiasts (and coffee fanatics)!

Beautiful outside! The sun is shining, the winds are calm, no rain is predicted (after a hard storm last night!) and we are supposed to reach 72 for an afternoon high.
(It is still a bit chilly at the moment were we stand at 55.)

The count:
Days to the Season: 45
Days to Christmas Day: 87
Tomorrow, we will be exactly one week from the 90% Home Stretch Season mark!

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Friends!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, Crown is right! It is a BEAUTIFUL morning here in the southeast US. It was 65° this morning at 8:00. I love cool weather! Makes me ready to break out the fall decorations.

As a matter of fact, many of the families in our small community are getting together this evening to plan our area fall decorations. Bellville is a small suburb of Claxton, GA. As Crown knows, Claxton ain't too big, itself, and Bellville is tiny by comparison. It's exactly 1 mile square. But we LOVE our little town! And I love the fact that so many of our neighbors are ready and willing to get together and take the time to dress up the town for the holidays. Small-town life is great!

I hope you all have a super day! cheesy

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a nice Monday! I scored a FREE Christmas gift yesterday to add to my gift closet. It is a really nice fleece pullover that I got as a thank you gift for donating to the charity golf tournament I worked yesterday. I wore it for the 3 hours I was there b/c it was soooooooo windy and cold, but really it was way too big for me. So I took it off, threw it in the wash and now it is folded and tucked away for a part of my BIL's present. Yay!

I'm reserving my condo to stay in at Branson in November. I'll be there to kick off the official start of the season and I am so excited! I can't wait!

Its quite chilly this morning. I'd say that it is safe to say that fall is officially here in St. Louis. I just finished enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and now it is time for me to get to work. Everyone have a lovely day!

Today is going to be devoted to cleaning my bedroom and making room in my closet for christmas gifts to be hidden. I also have to read over some new paperwork I got for my job and see if there is anything I need to go out and do this week. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They didn't look that good but they won the game and that is all that matters!!!!!!!!

I emailed my local radio station to see when they are going to start playing Christmas music. They said that only Santa knows but to listen in November. Usually if the first snowfall is before that they'll start the music.

I agree small town life is great. We have only 3 traffic lights in our county and only really need one. Most everyone's lives are centered around Church and family. Everyone knows and looks out for each other. If we want to visit a city we can drive 60 miles to Knoxville or 90 miles to Asheville. The only thing my wife dislikes is that the closest WalMart is 42 miles away...
