"That's crazy! So, I would imagine that she goes to Fanshawe? Good for her! I will certainly do my best to let you know whenever I return to that area. Don't worry, I am not a coffee enthusiast either!"

Im from london as well. I work by Fanshawe :)

Nice. I have not been to that campus in quite a while. I visited friends there in first and second year of college. That was about four or fives years ago now... It's a nice place.

Good morning, everyone!!

Tuesday means that I am back to work and going non-stop until 9 PM due to practice, work and then school. It's not a lovely day but it's only one day a week. While Crown and Brad seem to be enjoying beautiful weather in southeastern USA, we are not so lucky in Canada's Capital. It was quite a rainy practice this morning and we are only supposed to reach a high of 59 F today. Within a few weeks we will reach the time of year where it can snow and at given moment. If I can recall correctly, the earliest I have experienced snow is October 1st, but that was when I was in elementary school back home in Sault Ste. Marie. It was quite wet snow, too. Possibly a mix of sleet and snow. Oh well... The time is coming soon.

The leaves are turning and I noticed that a lot were beginning to fall yesterday. I really need to get out and take some pictures sometime this weekend. It should be the perfect time to do so.

Only a week away from our next milestone, which brings us just over five weeks away from the beginning of the Season. Fantastic! Have a great day everyone! Enjoy your Tuesday.

It's a blustery day out there. The high is supposed to go only up to 52F today. I'll be staying inside all day anyways.

I plan to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas while I have lunch. Then I'm going to super clean the whole house. Today seems like a good day to clean those hard-to-reach places that only get cleaned when I'm really in the mood. Later this evening I'm going to do lots of research on companies that will be at a career fair tomorrow (wish me luck!).

And I'm super excited because It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown comes in the mail today!!! Can you believe I've never seen it? I can't wait to watch that tonight.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, Crown is right! It is a BEAUTIFUL morning here in the southeast US. It was 65° this morning at 8:00. I love cool weather! Makes me ready to break out the fall decorations.

As a matter of fact, many of the families in our small community are getting together this evening to plan our area fall decorations. Bellville is a small suburb of Claxton, GA. As Crown knows, Claxton ain't too big, itself, and Bellville is tiny by comparison. It's exactly 1 mile square. But we LOVE or little town! And I love the fact that so many of our neighbors are ready and willing to get together and take the time to dress up the town for the holidays. Small-town life is great!

I hope you all have a super day! cheesy

Today's weather threw me off my rocker, I'm just down the road in Savannah & walked out of my apartment this morning & had to throw on my sweater in my bookbag because it was a little chilly, I didn't see that one coming LOL! Its a comfortable 75 degrees now...that's a bit more of my liking!

It took me by surprise, too, when I walked out the door. Love it! cheesy

Yeah its a rainy windy day. Had to get out my coat. Im seeing pumpkins out at neighbors houses! woo. Cant wait. I have my yearly Halloween party the 2nd last weekend of October. Sounds like a good turnout this year.

The infamous closet.

I have my first Xmas present in it already. Bought two weeks ago.

And it's only just begun.

LoL!

Cheers!!

ML

Today is going to be devoted to cleaning my bedroom and making room in my closet for christmas gifts to be hidden. I also have to read over some new paperwork I got for my job and see if there is anything I need to go out and do this week. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon!!! I haven't posted for about a week! I kept waiting to log on until I have time to kick back & read all the posts I've missed, but I realized I am just goign to have to jump on & say "hey" to everybody cuz who knows when I'll have enough time to read it all! LOL! I'll just have to read what I can of the 1641 posts I'm behind on!!

It is really windy here today too! Makes it feel much colder than the 57º it is!!! Brrrr!! I walk in the mornings with a friend & we both had pants & hooded sweatshirts this morning!! I was wishing I had brought a pair of thin gloves! My hands were numb when I got home!!

Bradmac - I love the small town life too! Enjoy your meeting tonight! How FUN!!!

I have been seeing more & more halloween decorations out! I went to a friends house last night & she had lots of fall decorations, lights & candles in the house. It really put me in the mood to get mine out! It's so cozy!! Maybe I'll do that tonight?!?!

Hope you are all having a great day!!!

I agree small town life is great. We have only 3 traffic lights in our county and only really need one. Most everyone's lives are centered around Church and family. Everyone knows and looks out for each other. If we want to visit a city we can drive 60 miles to Knoxville or 90 miles to Asheville. The only thing my wife dislikes is that the closest WalMart is 42 miles away...

I would love to live in a small town out in rural indiana. I have alot of accounts that I call on for my job that are the only stores in there little towns and I love how everyone knows each other. I live in what used to be a nice little farming town but over the last ten years the city has really expanded out this way. There is still alot of farm land and wooded areas but also alot of new housing communities and stores have went up. I guess since we are within a thrity minute drive of indianapolis it was bound to happen. I have to admit though I do like having wal-mart only 5 minutes away now instead of twenty and at least my apartments are still surrounded by farm land and woods.

Hello! I picked a basketful of tomatoes and peppers earlier today as it is going to get down in the forties in the city and that usually means a frost where I live.

Have a great day!

Sounds so yummy, I love stuff fresh picked from my garden, somehow it tastes so much better!

First on the board this morning?? Can't believe it.
Is everyone off drinking (cofffee, that is) with Binger?

Good Morning, Rise, Shine and smell the TEA, Folks.

Let's get straight to our mid-week count:
Days to the Season: 44
Days to Christmas Day: 86
One week from today, friends: the 90% Home Stretch Season Milestone!
Can you just imagine how fast things will move along after that?

Chilly here this morning again, with my thermometer reading 52 at this hour.
At least it's sunny and calm with no rain forecast until Saturday.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
Don't forget - it's Shispering Pines Day!
Lots of sweet southern tea, fired twinkies and chats with Carl on the rooftop veranda with Holiday and me. See you there!

Yesterday was a very stressful day. My uncle had double bypass surgery. When he came out the doctors said it didn't look good. They only got 10% better flowage in the one and the other they couldn't do anything with. We called the hospital today and he's doing better and they are going to put in a stent today. Please send him your prayers.

Thanks everyone.

My prayers go out to your entire family. I hope that all goes well today.

Today is going to be cleaning out the other closets so I can make more room. I have some of my kitchen stuff sitting on top of the cabinets in the kitchen and I want to get it in a closet and off of there. That way I can put santas up there at christmas time. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone!

Gee, it's quiet on here this morning... Believe it or not, I woke up to 0 degree celcius temperatures this morning. It dipped down to 4 C but the 40 plus km winds made it feel as if it were 0! The windchill factor has already arrived! Needless to say, it was a slightly cold walk to the bus stops that take me to work. It's still quite windy and I do we only have a forecasted high of 48 F! Obviously, that is very chilly for this time of year. More than 10 F below average, really.

Good news is that we are already halfway through the 40s on our Countdown to the Season! Two weeks from today we will be less than a month away until our favourite Season of the year. Of course, one week from today we hit the 100 percent mark, which is slightly closer! Excitement is certainly filling the calendar.

I hope everyone enjoys their Wednesday, after all, we are closing in on another weekend. Have a fantastic day, everyone!
