Good Morning, Folks.

Well, the last day of the work week is once again here - and sooner than ever, it seems!

And what is also sooner, is the start of our Christmas Season 2009:
Days to the Season: 42
Days to Christmas Day: 84
Wow! The Christmas Season starts just 6 weeks from today.
And we are closing in on the 90% home stretch mark (Oct 7).

Chilly again, with our temp at 54 degrees. Thankfully, it is again calm with no "wind chill" to worry about. Should be a comfortable 78 or so by this afternoon.

The nippy morning temperatures put me in mind of our annual State Fair which opens here in Raleigh on October 15 for a 10-day run.
I always feel it begins the general holiday season!
And hey! Lots of Halloween decorations are already up!
(I'm feeling so festive this morning!)

Anyway, have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And may your Weekend get off to a Wonderous start this afternoon!

I hope she had a Great Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheesy

Thanks, she did and now she can not wait until her party with her classmates this Sunday. Just what I want a bunch of 8 and 9 year olds screaming through the house. LOL! Glad that only happens once a year! LOL!

My daughter's birthday party with the family went very well last night. Everyone had a good time and of course over ate. Well we got to talking about the upcoming holidays...halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas. Well my son who is 3 starts walking around singing Jingle Bells!!!! Everyone goes yup he's your son all right! He made his mommy proud last night! Now not that anyone there dislikes Christmas, they are just not as big of a fan as I am!

Happy Friday all....

Ok I officially have something to keep me busy other than school...my mom's birthday is coming up & she wants me to come home & throw her a little girls night in pajama party. I'm excited I now have a reason to come back home to Atlanta :)

I just came back from Stone Mountain. You can keep Atlanta, it's too big for me!! Glad you are getting to go home!

Brent....can't figure out whose side I'm on.....Brett or Aaron...really no inbetween so I'm leaning towards Brett...really don't care b/c it isn't the Cowboys but it makes for good TV...

Too bad, Ballcoach. Brett got himself into the mess. Still, it's all right. It will make for real good TV and I hope that it's an exciting game anyway. Still, I can't wait to return to Lambeau in December.

Morning all. Or afternoon? heh. Just sitting at work thinkin about a white Christmas! Ill have to listen to some merry Christmas radio tonight. Well back to work!

Good morning, everyone!

The week is almost over and the weekend is only hours away. Well, my weekend has already begun, but I am sure it's close for everyone else. Unfortunately, I was up at 6 AM today for a 6:30 practice that turned into a hard gym session thanks to low numbers. It definitely felt nice. However, I really need a nap right now.

It's only about 40F at the moment, but we are supposed to reach the mid 50s, which is comfortable. Rain is expected later today, so I will enjoy the Fall sun while I can for today. No real plans for this weekend... I think we may have a couple scrimmages, but that's about it. Kim and I are going to Red Lobster this evening for Endless Shrimp, which is a season near Holiday tradition in itself. I'm excited!! She may even order shrimp, too! This is strange because she hated shrimp before she met me. Good for her!

We're ever so close to 40 days until the Christmas Season! I have to take this seriously soon as I still have not purchased my Halloween costume. I really must get on it, especially since it's on a Saturday this year!

Have a great day everyone! Enjoy your weekend as well.

Happy Friday everyone!! I slept in super late because my fiance came home from CA at midnight and we stayed up and talked all night. I was happy to see my diploma sitting on my front stoop this morning. It's finally official!!!!

Those blueberry pancakes sound good, Christmasstar. All I had was a boring bowl of cereal. :-?

I am so excited about today. I need to email the guy who interviewed me yesterday and then I'm having fun the rest of the day. I'm going to the craft store just for fun and I'll watch the movies I got from Netflix and have popcorn and hot chocolate. Yum!

Good evening all!

I've got no major plans this weekend - I'm going to try to become much more organised for Christmas and what I'm buying people, I also think I may visit my grandparents.. oh and I have baby hamster due tomorrow evening! Exciting :)

I've been listening to Christmas songs quite a lot these last few days so I think I will also stick on a Christmas movie if I'm allowed!

Today is the day if we find out if Chicago gets the Olympics! I hope we do!

I wish they would have got it. It would have been really nice to have it so close to home. :-?

COACH- Junior just might have a good race this weekend. He is starting second and it has been awhile since they started that high up in the field. Now if they just don't have any bad luck during the race.

made...read the good news tonight...i'm excited.....

is everyone else excited about the weekend?? the wife really wants to go to hobby lobby and look at Cmas stuff, but I don't know...just really leery about getting too excited this quick! No plans tomorrow, too cold for the grass to grow fast....free time for me

Well, I'm getting ready to head off to work. I've got some catering to handle today, but then I think I am pretty much done for the day.

Went to Sam's last night to pick up diapers and they have started putting out a good selection of their Christmas stuff. I spent some time looking at it and dreaming. Need to finalize my Christmas budget tonight and start knocking some gifts out! With it being so chilly - I almost feel like I could see Christmas lights as I am driving down the streets at night. Makes me feel so excited for the season!

In three weeks, I'll be hosting a Halloween party, in 4 weeks it will be Halloween and....in 5 weeks I will be in Branson on vacation during the first week of the Christmas festival!!! Yay! The next couple of weeks should be a ton of fun! Then the season will be here! I can't believe how close it is!

I can't wait too share the rest of this countdown with you all! Have a great Saturday everyone!

coach: I am excited about every weekend! Unfortunately, I have yet to be in a store that is already in Christmas mode. I was in one of our malls here yesterday and there really wasn't a whole lot of Christmas decor. But, then again, I strayed away from the main franchise stores such as Sears and The Bay (kind of like Macy's).

I guess that if I really wanted I would have to make the trek to Home Depot or The Bay in Rideau Centre as I am sure they already have their Christmas trees lined up. They usually do it pretty early! Maybe this week.

Good Morning, Friends and Holiday Neighbors!

Welcome to another weekend.
Not many more left you know, until Christmas Season 2009 kicks in on November 13.
Just how many, you ask?
Well after this one, there are only FIVE left until the Season begins!
Days to the Season: 41
Days to Christmas Day: 83
And that 90% home stretch Milestone is lurking just around the corner, barely over half a week away.
Now, carry that thought with you this weekend!

Warmer this morning, with lots of sun. And we stand at a nicely-walkable 64 degrees here in Raleigh at this hour.
Originally, rain was predicted but the weather service has now reduced that to only a 20% chance.

Have a Stupendous Saturday, Everybody!
I hope your Weekend is off to a Wonderous begining.

Good morning, friends....sunny, no wind, and 58!! How bout that! Feels wonderful outside. Going to take my coffee and sit outside!

5 more weekends til the season starts! Good times ahead! Think I'm going to clean up my truck today and do some Cmas shopping online later! Must buy Octobers gifts so I stay on schedule. Then, I think I'm going to cook some Chicken Spaghetti and freeze it for Thanksgiving! After that.....NOTHING! Hope yall are as happy about your Saturday as I am!

Good morning, everyone!

Just when I thought I had a weekend off, we have two scrimmages against our rival the University of Ottawa today. It should be a good time. There is still plenty of fog over the city but the forecast states that it will clear and we should hit a high of 63F this afternoon. Beautiful!!

Nice to see the countdown continue on the weekend. It feels strange being able to post on a Saturday! We are getting awfully close to 40 days as well as nearly in the 80s for Christmas Day. I like how the second digits are only two days off from mirroring each other.

Have a great Saturday, everyone!! Hope you all enjoy yourselves!!

Today is a day to relax. I am going to kick back and watch some football and nascar. Tonight I will run to the grocery store. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mawnin' (as we say in the South),

I went to Oktoberfest last night on the river. I plan on going back again this evening. They had fireworks so that was pretty cool & enjoyable. The temperature is a comfy 75 degrees. Not much planned today.
