Hi everyone... 1/2 way through the week again!

Mumof2 Im glad your kids are safe!

I have had a stressful afternoon. I found out that my best friend (she is a school teacher..26 years old with a 5 month old Daughter (my God Daughter) has the H1N1 flu..she started feeling sick on Monday and tested positive today. We were all together on Saturday night for Halloween. She was holding my 3 month old and playing with my 2 year old. Im praying that my Boys do not get this flu and also my God Daughter. I have made myself sick to my stomach just wondering if they are infected without symptoms yet? Please pray for my Boys and God Daughter. Im really wishing we were a week ahead from now so that I knew my Boys and God Daughter were safe and not going to get infected :-?

Hope that works out for the best. I'm home myself with Swine Flu and getting rather bored of it all! Hope I'm better on Friday, since I have loads of plans for this weekend!
 
Hery Brad.. Crown wears night vision goggles.. helps them to find their bed even quicker in the dark!

Sila & Midipaul, I hope everything turns out ok with your jobs. I have been working 30 hours per week (down from 38-40) since last January, so we feel the pinch a little too, though I'm thankful for my hubby's good job. I'll keep ya both in my prayers!

MsChristmas, I hope your boys & your Goddaughter do not get the flu! UGH! Sounds like it's making it's rounds everywhere! But don't worry/lose sleep about it - you will wear down your immune system worrying & then you'll end up sick & give it to your boys!! Hang in there & pump the vitamin c!!!

I would never try to make light of your situation...but the school that I work at has been hit by an outbreak already....and while the kids and many of their parents got sick...everyone ended up just fine! Just make sure you are doing the things that you see on the news....wash hands...etc....

Remember....worrying isn't going to assure you that they won't get swine flu...nor will it make them any more likely to get it....it's just that worrying is so unproductive and most of the times we worry about things we can't change....stay positive....control what you can...and continue to pray....it will be fine....

I'm pulling for you...I know how scared alot of our parents and teachers were, but it's going to be fine....

Good luck and I will remember you in my prayers!

I thought Carl only made and dispensed the stuff. Didn't know he drank it, too.

All done with my cards for the exchange! Now all I need to do is send them out. This weekend is going to be in the 60s so we might put up the lights outside so we're not doing them when it's 40 below! lol
 
Hey guys! Checking in...it's been awhile. With work and also working on our home I haven't had much time for being online. I am
looking forward to the Holidays. Although, I haven't been on here in awhile I was thinking of you all and the Holiday season wasn't far
from my mind either. I have actually started my Christmas shopping. And picking up a few things for my ornament partner here on MMC. I would
have loved to have signed up for the Card Exchange (It's defiantely a blast!) but not enough time so I have opted out for this year.
My daughter had a great Halloween and went as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. We recently got a mini toy poodle named Raisin and he
was d/d's side kick and went as Toto...*L* He's so precious at a whopping 3 1/2 lbs. We lost our beloved doberman in
July. Prior to the poodle we adopted a fantastic dog (Neo Newton) from the local animal shelter. We haven't had much of a fall season. I was looking forward to the leaves changing color but with the snow we got
and the temps. dropping everything froze and the leaves went from green to yellow and that was it before they began to fall. I was looking forward to the greens, yellow,
oranges, reds. But it didn't happen.... This coming Saturday is our local Christmas Bazaar. I am really looking forward to going. I love admiring (and of course buying) homemade
goodies from such talented people. As of last weeks paper it looks as if there will be well over 100+ vendors. The event is usually held at two locations. A fun time to get out
visit with friends you haven't seen in awhile and of course shop. Well that's about it gang. Hope you all are doing well. I plan on checking in a little more often now that I have a little more
time.
