Hello my good friends!!! I thought that once the holidays ended, things would calm down some...Nothing could be further from the truth...Can't believe that we are almost 1/4 of the way there...Thanks to Crown's ingenious count we are well along the way right after the season passes...Time is flying!!!

Will try to post more often...I miss this place so much when I'm not part of it!!!

with the wintery weather we have had this week in the u.k (lots of snow and ice) it has felt very festive. as cold as it is in december, there never seems to be any snow, i have my fingers crossed that we might get some this year.

:-? My husband has the flu. I have a sinus cold, but I'm working through it.

Poor O'Malley, he's so bored. I played with him with his carnival snake lastnight and I'm about to give him a bit of exercise with the dangly wand toy.

Snow - crazy. I'm sticking with my optimistic view that it will be leaving my city by the last week of February or the first week in March, but looking out the window paints a different turn of future events.

I want to start taking Spring photos.

Good Morning Y´all. Hope everyone had a good week s foar.
All is ok over here...beside me sleeping....but it´s getting better with meds...so no more talk about that.

gon watch Married With Children in a few minutes.......alwayas get a laugh out of that....and that is good for me these days

.....Crown, I thought Carl left to explore the world and seek his fortune.....

No, if you will recall, he was deployed on a secret mission to Saudia Arabia for several months a year or so ago, being greatly in demand because of his...er...rather unique talents.
Once that mission was completed, he sight-saw for a while and visited relatives, but decided to return after seeing the camel above! I couldn't bring myself to ask whether or not they were kin and he didn't seem to want to talk about it.
On his return to America, he got the job as activities director at the Shispering Pines, and has been there ever since, working on his (somewhat questionable) coffee experiments and amusing visitors.
Of course, just recently he's been busy with production of the new Mauradio Sugar Cookies which have been added to the menu to accompany the always popular Fired Twinkies.

We have lost another 11 degrees (where did they go?) dropping from 33 at this time yesterday to 22 this morning.
No precip, though, and much warmer temps are in store for the weekend.

:rudolph:You can tell my husband's still feeling a bit on the rough side, when I'm able to visit and post more. I'm taking advantage of the extra computer time. I will be getting pretty busy next week with a few things I'll have to take home from work to complete so I'm enjoying the forums as much as I can to tide me over when I'm not able to visit.
I have to work all day Saturday, but I have a long weekend coming up the following weekend. Four days off. That'll be nice.

: It was nippy out there on the way to the gym this morning. When I smelled the chimney smoke, I thought of Christmas and naturally I thought of my pals here and that got me grinning which led to me humming "Happy Holidays" as I headed into the ladies locker room.

Good evening, Friends! It's warmer than it was yesterday at this time but not by much. Temps were at 17 below earlier today. Found out why the cat food has been going so fast - a raccoon has been munching away on it. I guess he has to eat, too cheesy I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow!

Happy Friday Eve!!!! Another week flying by... it really will be Christmas again before we know it! :-D Tomorrow I am only working until noon b/c my hours at work have been cut to 30 hours per week! Darn economy!! Ah well, I get to start my weekend early! Have a great night!!

Good morning to all! I'm so glad it's Friday! I didn't think that this week would ever end. My husband is returning from his bus trip with a group of firemen to some plant in Ohio that makes fire gear and equipment. He'll be home tonight. I have my 1st algebra test today. I have to do our taxes and get those in today and schedule bill pays today as well. I'm going to clean the house tonight and finish my biology homework that is due on Sat. Then I'll be able to relax for a day and then it's back to the old grind on Sunday night! Have a nice weekend everybody!!
