Christmas Countdown - 2009

"I wish I could turn the clock back to about December 4th! LOL"

Once we hit the double-digits in December, I always feel that way. Today is the first weekday of vacation, so I am certainly looking forward to time off. We go back Jan 4. However, the vacation didn't start too well this weekend. I was quite ill yesterday ...not sure what it was. Hopefully just a 24-hour 'bug', as I'm feeling a bit better today. I've never been sick on Christmas, and don't plan on starting now! cheesy

Enjoy what is sure to be a very busy week. Remember to slow down, and watch a favorite Christmas show or two in the next few days.

WOOHOO Only 4 days left to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't belive that we are that close. Today I am going to finish off my candy making. Most of it will get passed out tomorrow but I won't pass out any to my neighors until christmas eve. I also need to get the kitchen cleaned up and I still have a few gifts to wrap. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning....What a wonderful weekend we had. Snow, Snow and more snow. We got around 15 inches... took pictures. Will have to post them later this week. We also baked for 2 days and still have some more baking to do this week. Tonight going to bundle up the kids, go out and make a big snowman and then afterwards we will warm up with cocoa while we help the kids make ornaments for gifts.

Hello Everone!
We got buried from the storm.It looks so pretty,but It's a pain to park.Gotta run some errands today.Shopping for last minute items tomorrow,and then baking all the goodies.Took a bunch of pics will try to post them soon having trouble with uploading them to the puter for some reason.I hope ya's have a wonderful day,stay warm!

We've made it, everyone!!

It is officially Christmas week!! Unbelievable! Things are very busy up here in northern Ontario. Plenty of people packing the malls and stores to purchase last minute gifts. My brother is at the mall this evening buying some things. I hope he finds what we're looking for! I've already done my part.

I went to the gym today and worked out for two hours. To say that I am completely exhausted would an understatement. Still, after a weekend off from the gym, which coincidentally was filled with (mostly) partying with old friends, it was needed.

There is still plenty of snow on the ground and it appears that we will get a whole lot more starting on Christmas Day. Strangely enough, I've always been a fan of the high pressure system, sunny and freezing cold Christmas days (about -20C), but I can settle for more snow! Still a few days away, so the forecast can change. Either way, it will be another beautiful Christmas here in the Sault.

Well, I hope that everyone is enjoying themselves and prepared to spend a Christmas weekend with their family and loved ones. I hope Monday has treated you well and enjoy your evening!

very bittersweet, as much as I can't wait til christmas... It is upsetting that It will be over quickly:-?!!!
According to the weather network, my christmas day will be full of sunshine!! no snow or rain in sight!

Good Evening! I offically finished all my gift wrapping today. So glad to have it done...now I can relax. My daughters been begging me to let her open a gift. But I am making her wait. She can open one on Christmas Eve. and the rest Christmas morning. Hope you all had a good day!

We are getting our plans finalized for Christmas eve and day. We went to dinner tonight at a restaurant that goes all out for Christmas! It's a tradition in our house to go to that restaurant. I can't wait til the end of the week!
