Well it snowed all around the outskirts of our town last night...and missed us!! its crazy! all the mountains are covered in snow, which look lovely..but no snow on the ground here:?

only 3 days left, soon to be 2!!!!!

Good morning all! 2 days to go oh wow! So much to do today but excited about it! A bit more tidying to do and lots more baking - sugar cookies and gingerbread muffins yummy!

And we got even more snow last night, there's about 4 or so inches on the ground, it's still dark out but when it gets lighter I'll be wandering out to get pictures, it's so beautiful! Fingers crossed it stays on the ground for Christmas!

I am so excited. Tomorrow is distribution of presents.

My brother and i will decorate the tree tomorrow morning, then will my grandma come .. at 5pm we will go to the cemetery
with all relations. After that we will eat some sausages with Brezeln and after that we have the distribution of presents and the first time where we turn the lights on the tree on. We stand infront of the tree, listen to Silent night and pray, wish everyone a merry christmas and then we open our presents. Yay i can´t wait.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Sorry I missed yesterday. I've been working hard, trying to be caught up for Christmas.

It's supposed to rain on Christmas day, but that won't hamper my sprits! The only problem is, our town usually put out luminaires on the sidewalks for Christmas Eve night and Christmas night. These are white paper bags with some sand in the bottom for weight, and a votive candle inside. The rain makes this hard to do. Maybe we'll get a dry Christmas weather present, huh?

I'm up early (Y-A-W-N!) since it's going to be a busy day with my sister and nieces here.
My shopping is complete, but I'll be out helping them, shortly.
(They are more the procrastinating type)

Close! So very close! (Almost close enough to hear the Ho! Ho! Ho!)

Cold once again where we stand right at the freezing mark.
Should be nice, though, until Christmas Day, when stormy weather is still predicted.

Last Shispering Pines visit before Christmas.
Carl is waiting for us with Cookies, Eggnog and Christmas music but there's really not much point to looking for the weekend. The wonderful glow of Christmas Day will obscure the view.

Wow just a little over 38 hours to go!!!!!! It is starting to rain here and it is going to rain through christmas morning now. Today is a prep day for me. I will make my macaroni salad and cut up the cheese for my macaroni and cheese. I will also make up my apple pie and bake it. I passed out the candy to my neighors this morning and they all loved it. I also have a few last minute gifts that I picked up last night to wrap today. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My oh my.....the three best days of the year are finally here!! I'm just like a little kid...as soon as my wife left I unwrapped a gift and wrapped it back...I just had to know if I got what I wanted....AND I HOPE IT'S IN ANOTHER BOX! I'm just beside myself I'm so happy!

My brother is coming home tonight and we are going to eat chili and visit! Couldn't be happier....except for ballgame duty tonight.....but I shall not let that dampen my spirits....I will go to the game and share my joy with all....

I'm so thankful....being 33 years old....I have one set of grandparents....my aunts and uncles...brother...parents....and wife....I'm sorry to inform all of you, but you have the 2nd best family....mine is the best and I'm so happy to be able to spend the next three days with them...

And, of course, to be able to spend the next three days with you makes me even more happy! Merry Christmas, MMC family!

Hi folks. Fresh snow yesterday, clearing for today and Christmas. It's going to be bright, clear and sunny here. (Not warm though).
