We begin but another week of our travel back to the Christmas Season.

Getting close to just 2 weeks until the 1/4 Milestone to the Season.
The days just keep marching along!
Quite cloudy here this morning. Looks like it might be thinking about raining but the weather service says none until Wednesday. We shall see.
It is 35 here in Raleigh at this hour.

Sparklenana I like how you sneak thing into your home so the hubby won't be upset. LOL
(Yes, I did oversleep today. Ended up taking a Personal Day. This cold still has me in it's grip.) Everyone told me to expect it to last about 3 weeks. Some days I thought it would go away, but it seems to have reared it's ugly head again!

Good afternoon everybody! It's cold here today, about 18 degrees this morning. We're supposed to get some snow tonight around 4 am, accumulations around an inch. Then Tues. night into Wed. we're supposed to get anywhere from 1-5 inches of snow!! Of course I'll believe it when I see it but, we have had some good snow here lately. I am so excited that we are almost at the 1/4 mark! I still have a couple of trees up! Have a good day everybody.cheesy
hello my beloved Christmas family....had a good day today...and will find a nice poem about mums (in german) to write on a card...since it´s my mom´s b-day tomorrow....51-years-old...I will dress Kandice very sweet tomorrow...she will get an old record of someone she likes to listen too...and a giftcard for a new purse (giftcard...because I will go there with her)

The Weather here in Leeds, England is 43f, and the forecast is rain, it rained yesterday, and it will rain again tomorrow, and by the looks of things rain on Thursday.

The love and celebrations of birthdays is very nice! And it gives us happy things to think about in the middle of winter. Thank goodness that Crown 84 keeps our spirits up with the Countdown!
I have decided to lift the ban on totally useless but very fun things - for the rest of the winter of 2009! As long as something does not hurt, disturb or gross out anyone else -- you can go ahead and do it if it gives you mindless fun! No longer do you have to restrain yourself to a "moderate amount of hours" playing video games. You can also watch as many hours of TV as you like (and you don't have to pretend that you are watching PBS.) You can also play on your computer as much as you like.
In return, all that is asked of you is that you be cheerful, polite and extremely nice to everyone you encounter! This behavior on your part will help them get through the Winter of 2009 in good shape also!
