Did anyone but me hear the rumor that Binger was giving up coffee for lent??? And supposedly Crown was going to sleep four hours less a day...So only 13 hours a day for Crown for the next six weeks???

CAN THEY DO IT???

:snowball:

Coffee for Lent? OMG ummm no.

Crown howeveris giving up sleeping for 13 hours a day and instead is going to opt for 15 hours.. thus giving up two hours of daylight activity...

.....I think I am going to follow the season countdown much more than the day countdown this year. I accepted last year that I enjoy mid-Nov to Christmas much more than Christmas Day (which is depressing because you know its over).....
Ah! That's the Christmas Season spirit, Arkansas!

Good Morning, Friends of the Season!

It's a cold one again here where we are once again in the 20's this morning.
Dry, however, although rain is predicted for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The ever dwindling count:
Days to the Season: 261
Days to Christmas Day:303
The 300-Day Christmas Day window will be here in less than a week, now!
Unbelievable! And so little left to February.
(I'm looking forward to March - it just SOUNDS warmer than February!)

Well, Jay, I mulled over the idea of giving up some sleep for Lent.
At first I rejected the idea with a shudder.....but then I thought, well it just MIGHT be fun to stay awake and watch Binger go quietly (or not so quietly) insane from giving up coffee. At that point, it became a no brainer!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends.
My, My, My doesn't that view to the weekend (and the 300-Day mark) look nice from the peak-of-the-week, Holiday?

:hello: The view to the weekend looks awesome!

I'm off today after working seven days in a row and five of those days I was unable to come home for lunch so O'Malley and my husband missed me "big batches".

I'm listening to MMC, I believe it's a new or else I missed a few songs last time I listened. It's switching from a new show to an old one.

cheesy Anybody else ever give it a listen? It keeps the feeling of Christmas a tad closer even if the tunes aren't as familiar as the ones you might hear from Jay and the Demented Elf, etc.

I have to work tomorrow with two meetings in the afternoon and then I'm off on Friday.

Mom's birthday is on Sunday so we'll be heading that way for a visit and to give her some presents.

Cheers Christmas Chums!

It's Wednesday - Hump Day - and I have lost track of time. I don't know how folks who do shift work and travel all over manage it.

:snowball: Remember my prediction about the snow being gone by the last week of February or the first week of March ... not happening.

 Excuse me while I run off and sulk now because I'm tired of the snow and cold and my winter boots busted and I'd rather not buy a new pair right now. Sure I'd get a deal on boots since it's almost "out of season" for them, but I'm fighting a migraine and if I smell boots (it might aswell be tires), I think I'll lose my lunch.

I'd rather buy Spring things than winter things anyway.

:-? You think if I make a picket sign to end winter, I'll get anywhere with that?

it´s 8:17pm now over here in Germany.....Champions Leage Soccer is up on TV...Champions League is the biggest International League in Europe....usually the Champions of each league and the second place finish qualify for that league.....so today my team Bayern Munich is playing Sporting Lissabon....I´m hoping for a victory today

It is a dreary day here - hoping it melts very slowly so the basement doesn't flood again. I'm in a good mood, though. No caffeine yet today - doing very well. Hope everyone has a lovely day. And I hope your team wins, Track!

We're having spring like weather here in NC. I'm wishing for those that are tired of the snow to have warm weather soon.

Its pretty chilly here today in Maryland. Tomorrow and Friday are suppose to be in the 50's which will be nice. But we have a chance of snow Sunday and in the 30's for a few days ..ugh Spring please get here for good!

Did anybody see on the news that I managed to plaid slipcover Estonia?????!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so proud......

cheesy

OK Maureen now on to Latvia and Lithuania - keep those Baltic States plaid..

YABBA

YABBA

it's snowing again!!!

quite heavily. Supposed to snow until morning.
:snowball:
Oh well, what can you do? Go out and build an army of snow people I guess. It was predicted we would get rain and instead we get this. I have to take a charter to a farm tomorrow and to the London airport Friday morning. i hope this stops before then.
