hello guys,

hope everyone has a nice sunday.

just wanted to share a little story with you, a family friend of ours who is only 27 has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, she has had her womb removed but unfortunately it hasn't ridden her of the cancer. she needs to have chemotherapy and radiotherapy. she has a young daughter and has recently married. i think it's really tragic and her family are devastated.

i know we are all suffering financially at the moment, the economic climate is dreadful, but as my lovely nan always says "health is wealth" the most important thing is our health and we should never take it for granted.

i'm praying and hoping that she gets better and i'm wishing all our members all the good health in the world. in the grand scheme of things, it's all that matters.

just had to tell you all, there is another website that i occassionally go on which is basically just a big forum talking about general topics and someone has started a thread about christmas 2009, someone in that thread has posted a link to this webiste for all fellow christmas lovers! cheesy

when i saw the link i was so proud, haha!

Good Morning Friends and Christmas Neighbors!

It's after 9:00 and time to.......HEY! Wait! It's after 10:00!! We was wobbed by that wascally wabbit!
(What do you say we all meet here to hatch a plot to get that hour back - maybe some time in late October?)

OK, the (belated) count:
Days to the Season: 250
Days to Christmas Day:292
The 1/3 Season milestone - one week from today!
Merciful heavens!
And look, we are already half way from the 300 to the 200 day Season window!

We reached 82 degrees yesterday and are supposed to duplicate that feat today.
Spring (if not summer) is here, however temporarily.
Currently, it is 62 at my condo here in Raleigh.

Have a Super Sunday, Guys!

Good Afternoon all!

Back from Church and taking the kids to Sunday school on the bus (which is now parked and empty again) My daughter is making a gourmet lunch of fish and chips for us to enjoy. I am now relaxing and and catching up here before going back to work on my cakes.

Johnor, so sorry to hear about your friend. It is so hard to watch someone you care about go through a trial like that. You are right, things like good health are so often taken for granted until one day.... I hope all goes well with her.

Johnor...I will pray for Your friend and her family...she´s so young and I hope and pray that she will survive that terrible disease and will be able to see her kid grow!!!

God bless her

A good Sunday to all!! Yay - 250 days to the start of the season. Time is going by fast! It is a dreary day out and I am brimming with energy. Not sure what is up with that, but I've got lots of plans for this afternoon.

I'm so sorry for your friend, Johnor! I'm praying for her and her family!

After a glass or two of wine yesterday my husband invited his whole family to dinner on Christmas Day this year - and even though rather early to make plans I thought, they all accepted. I am looking at around 12 people total. Problem is, we had a new kitchen fitted last year and it has a built in oven and hob, somewhat smaller than my previous freee-standing, two-oven job. Just realised I won't be able to get the turkey in!
:snowball:

Still working on it, Bing - but not quite so depserately.
Did you have any mountain-grown coffee while in WV?

Good Morning!

A new day - a new week - another step closer to Christmas Season 2009.

And just how many steps away are we, now? Let's check:
Days to the Season: 249
Days to Christmas Day:291
Under a week away now from the 1/3 Season Milestone.
Old Father Time just keeps on rolling along!

Well, have a Marvelous Monday, My Many Merry Manics.
I hope your Week is off to a Wonderous start!

A hearty Monday Morning hello to my friends in Christmastown!

The time is flying by and a year when I thought I'd have more time to post and do radio shows has worked out to be quite the opposite...I guess I should not complain but it is frustrating...I read through the posts most days but even that has become a challenge...Don't you hate it when the real world gets in the way or your internet time???

Am still drinking Starbucks Christmas blend and my supply should take me through the end of April...then it'll be a long six months or so till we see it again...

Spent a few days in Walt Disney World last week...Still love it, still fun, still the best place on earth!

My back seems to have healed nicely and I'm ready for a dance! Binger?

Jay

I took some during the night and this am...i am not a good photog and not tech savy at all but i will try and load them tonight.......

Also......One of the countdowns I have in my own mind is the first of Spetember....in my head that is when fall starts and we start toward Halloween and the following Holidays. I just realized that I'm half way there!

The same for me. September is when I know its almost the most wonderful time of the yearcheesy

Wow! How can you be in a good mood after all that? I am in a semi-good mood, too; and tomorrow after school I get to go have a cortisone injection in my heel. Now, won't that be special?
