Good FRIDAY morning, everyone! (I wish I had a Snoopy happy dance clip!) (EDIT: found one!)
We're leaving in the morning for a few days at Lake Sincair here in Georgia. My sister-in-law found an 8 bedroom house at the water for us and some of my in-laws (there are MANY in that family) to rent, so we're taking a couple boats to fish from and to tube from.
When I travel with the inlaws, I'm the breakfast cook. A couple gallons of coffee, 4 dozen eggs, three pounds of bacon, a toasted loaf of bread, a crock pot full of grits and a gallon of orange juice...ok, that's the first morning. What's for breakfast tomorrow?

Bradmac have fun at the lake. I had enough water here last night to deal with. It rained so hard that it flooded my street up to my knees in about twenty minutes. It was crazy. All of my neighors were trying to get there cars up out of the water but there was just no where to go because the ground was to soft and the water rose to quick. The main street leading into my apartment complex was okay but the water was to deep to drive thru unless you had a vehicle that sits up higher. The water went down about a half hour after it stopped raining and then we all started to bail the water out of are cars. It didn't get high enough to really damage anything expect the carpet but one of the neighors had a wet vac so we took turns using it to get the water out of the carpet. I am going to clean the carpet to get the smell out but that should be easy since my sister has a handheld carpet cleaner that I got her two years ago for christmas. So I am headed that way this afternoon to use it. That is about all that is going on today. Hope everyone has a Great Day!!!!!!!!!
what up fellas....Kandice and Kimberly are in K´s room and play a bit...later on I will cook some...but before that...a friend of mine with her 5-month old Golden Retriever comes over, too...so it will be a nice, nice day

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We have a busy one - funeral viewing & then birthday party tonight, painting the basement at my parents tomorrow morning, wedding tomorrow afternoon/night, & a graduation party on Sunday! Doesn't leave me much time for hanging out at the lake this weekend...although the b-day party tonight is at the lake!! Have a good one!!!

weather is nice today, will go over to my mom´s after bringing my Kimberly back to her grandma´s house...then after that we will do our weekly visit at my grandparent´s place!

You may remember me from such previous posts as "Plaid - what do you mean the colours clash?!" and "Around the World in 80 days; A Concise History of Slipcovering in Plaid"
It's been rather hectic lately. Wedding season has kicked in bigtime so it's all go on the nuptuals front. One very kind couple actually want married at 5am at the top of a hill. How much do you want to bet that it pours down and we're surrounded by dog-walkers??!! Getting my outfit together for the Queen's Garden Party; it's coming along nicely (stay tuned for photos!). My hot air balloon flight was cancelled AGAIN (anybody keeping track how many times that's been now?!) Bruce has gone to Rome for a weeks vacation (he finished school forever on Friday and is waiting for his exam results to know if he's got the marks to start Stirling University in September) We've finished decorating the bedroom in readiness for some very dear friends who are visiting in September from Montreal. Oh, and Jacob's lead snapped and we chased after him for ages while he went nuts chasing deer. That lost me about 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!

I can imagine Bruce is more than happy to put school behind him finally........I know I was....I just saw 15 more minutes and it´s only Kandice and I again....minus my Godchild....I love her dearly...but she´s more than five hands full........that fired Kandice up big-time, too....lol...and my nerves are a bit wrecked...but we are in good spirits....lol...she´s just a very, very wild and LOOOOOOOOOUD child...haha...I love to have her...but I also love to bring her back to grandma or her mum....

plans changed for today....my boyfriend wants to take Kandice and I out to the beach bar we have.....Even tho we only have a river....they made a real big place with lots of sand, beach furniture and cool-a++ drinks........it makes me really happy that he did it from himself...because he usually never comes up with any ideas what to do
