Yes, here we are on the Eve of Friday and under a week now to the 100-Day Season window.

Days to Christmas Day:148
That's right, Folks. One week from today, we will be down to SINGLE DIGITS to our Glorious Christmas Season.
(Better start thinking about getting that gift list together!)
Calm and sunny here in Raleigh at this hour.
Continuing probability of rain all through the rest of the week, although today will see the lowest chance.
We stand at 79, currently.

Thursday is the day I normally work from home - so you know what that means? I get to stay in my jammies all day, drink hot chocolate and listen to Christmas music while I work! That is my favorite day!!!
Also, check out going to Cheesecake Factory today if you have one! It is National Cheesecake Day and if you dine in, any slice of cheesecake is half price. They are also unveiling their new Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake! Yumm-Oh! I don't believe there is any coupon necessary. I think you can go to their web page for more info.

The countdown continues! Good morning, everyone.
It looks absolutely beautiful outside today. A total first, I know. Total will more than likely be only the seventh or eighth day all summer where it has not rained at all. Yes, you've read that correctly. It's rain nearly every day this summer in Ottawa, which is entirely bizzare. Also, we are finally in the seasonal/above seasonal temperature range for today and the rest of the weekend. Low to mid 80s today with a humidex into the high 80s and maybe even 90s! Finally!
Of course, I will be in my office all day, but it's great to see that August may be the best month of the summer for Canada's capital. Wherever you are, enjoy your Thursday and be happy for a long weekend with a holiday Monday which will be celebrated by your neighbour to the north (assuming you are in the States). Take care, everyone!
